It was pointed out that the Koch Bros have donated, heavily, to what is ostensibly, a progressive cause. Please show me where Thinkprogress has championed a conservative cause and you might have a case. As it stands, you are, again, demonstrably wrong.

Note the oil-owned Perry is fighting the EPA about pollution to protect the TX petrochemical corps' profits. No EPA, a Repug objective, would turn TX into a disease-cluster like Lake Charles LA and the lower Mississippi.
Show me where Kock Bros donated to anything that didn't protect or increase Kock Bros profits?

The Koch brothers gave $20 million to the ACLU to fight the Patriot Act, but only $43,000 to Scott Walker’s $11 million campaign for governor of Wisconsin. Now, these libertarian brothers who support drug legalization and cuts in defense spending have been falsely branded as the puppetmasters behind Walker and Supreme Court Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas. (The Kochs have never met or spoken with Walker. They’re Libertarians, not conservatives. One of the Koch brothers was the Libertarian Party’s vice presidential nominee in 1980, running against Reagan).

LinkJust what is this Koch Industries? Should it be called a "company?" If so we need to re-think the idea of what a company and a business is supposed to be. Even the brother of Koch Industries owners David and Charles Koch called the company an "organized crime" operation.
Koch money is a key driver of the conservative movement. Almost every <1> conservative-movement rock <2> you turn over <3> has Koch money <4> crawling around <5> under it. As the movement becomes more and more of a pay-to-play operation, conservatives of every stripe do more and more to protect and enrich the Koch operation. This has included blocking, disrupting and avoiding official investigations of accusations. It also includes funding front groups to advance the political and financial interests of the company and its owners.
Perhaps we should rename Congress... "Kochgress?"
