Props for apologies, but better if he just kicks Session ass today. Then everybody will forget that game.
An apology is not sufficient. We fans just had to suffer through an ELEVENTH loss this season. I gave the Spurs three hours of my free time that could have been spent playing video games or watching something else on TV. George Hill clearly didn't respect my time enough to not have a bad game.
We demand justice!
BLOOD!
Props for apologies, but better if he just kicks Session ass today. Then everybody will forget that game.
This was not necessary, he had a bad game it happens, everybody has bad games. He needs to move on and not being worried about what a fan base thinks IMHO.
If he continues to suck what will happen ? He will need to tweet apologies after every game ?
No apologies necessary. He just needs to focus on playing better and not take any more compromising photos of his private parts.
Hill is not a natural pg.
I didn't see the game, but did he really play that bad? I checked the boxscore and it seemed like everyone played like . It also looked like Pop waived the white flag and pulled the starters out early again....
Hard to know if Hill saying this is a good or bad sign.
He is either very mentally weak that he thinks he has to apologize and is crushed mentally from now on.
Or he realizes he can and will play better and beasts next game (quite easier against Cleveland but whatever).
Hard to know.
I think itīs clear that he can "Play PG" with Manu by his side because Manu is the real PG there. But he is plain UNABLE to play PG all by himself.
James Anderson and Neal shown a better feel for what a play demands than Him.
I say its the latter...Neal and Anderson weren't asked to control the ball and/or run the offense. Hill took a huge in the game yesterday but I don't expect it to kill his confidence, look for a better game from him tonight.
The whole team played like . No need for just one to apologize.
We need to trade Parker and let Hill start. </SpursTalk 2009>
Hill has shown his potential, the guy can be a lethal weapon but he has to be aggressive and attack the basket. Hill's weakness is the half court game, he should be attacking the whole time he's in the game.
I don't know how everybody can dog this guy after one terrible performance. He's done reasonably well this year with a few flashes of greatness. TP is out, and that puts a tremendous amount of pressure on a third year player to start at PG on this Spurs team (especially considering he's been playing behind TP). He sucked his first outing as starting PG, he admitted it, AND he publicly apologized for it. It takes a lot of balls to do that, and I applaud him for that. I can't imagine any other player doing the same.
I expect a VERY SIGNIFICANT rebound game from him tonight.![]()
It was, like Beno in game 4 against the Pistons. TO after TO
I think Georgie played terrible, but he owes nobody an apology. He didn't play badly because he doesn't care or because he doesn't prepare. The starters scored 40 points; sometimes you have a bad night.
Except that Beno only had two.
Hill on the road is weak, bodes ill for the playoffs.
Tonight's a great time to show up on the road.
Good job for Hill tonight. Great bounce back.
Thats because after that there he never saw the light of day out there again in 05. That was a much bigger stage too.
But at least one was humble enough to do so. And that guy had the best game today against Cleveland.
