has there ever been any major players who Never had injury issues -other than a couple games here and there-in their careers?
Karl Malone and John Stockton.
AC Green has the record I think for consecutive games played. D.Fish has played like 500 straight games without sitting out, that guy is built like a in tank for his age haha.
star player
For the most part, Steve Nash has been rock solid in his career, usually not missing more than a couple of games per season. Since 2001, he's played in at least 74 games every season. Last year, he only missed one game. It's surprising because he has well-known spinal issues, yet he rarely misses much court time.
Stockton only missed four games in the first 13 years of his career. Then missed 18 in a row at the start of 97-98.
Karl Malone only missed five games due to injury while with Utah. And only got hurt in LA because Pat Burke's dumbass fell on top of Malone's knee while it was extended out in front of him, thereby hyper-extending the out of it.
Other than when he broke his foot, Chicago Jordan barely missed games to injury, I think.
Andre Miller is never hurt.
Probably a few others.
Oh yeah I got someone hey how about Andrew By.......oh oh never mind

MJ AFTER the broken foot was pretty damn durable but he did take 1.5 seasons off ... for baseball.
Obviously Stockton, Malone and Kareem come to mind ...but I missed most of Kareem's prime. Funny thing is dude had bad migraines so though he avoided serious injury he would miss a couple games a year due to migraines ...
Fisher is a scrub in the regular season & somehow turns into a star player in the playoffs.![]()
Stockton was amazingly durable, given how physically he played the game. He played in every one of his team's games in 17 of his 19 seasons. The two seasons that he didn't play in every game, he still appeared in 78 and 64 games. So, out of 1526 total games played by his teams during his career, he appeared in 1504 of them -- 98.5%.
How about everyone comes into this thread and mentions someone from their favorite team even though they aren't anywhere near a star player.
Idiots.
dirk has been pretty resilient as well...only missed about 30 games in 13 seasons with the mavs..
What are you talking about? Besides fisher and Bowen, every player named is a star ...

depends how you define star.
Fish 5 time champ, Bowen 3 time champ and best perimeter defender. Pretty good, IMO.
horry is a 7 time champ. good? yes. star? no.
Are you talking about the present or the past?
As far as the present goes, i cant recall Dwight Howard ever having an injury. Even though he got heat for the elbow last season, LeBron has never had any injury issues as well. The problem for LeBron is that ESPN will make it their top story if he were to get a paper cut, therefore anything he gets is overly exaggerated
Lol butthurt.
lol "star"
Michael Jordan comes to mind.
