The worst nba team scored 99 pts against us
Spurs are a generous team... we also thought RMJ was second string, and he's barely in the league these days...
50 wins!
Tough, and really big game Friday against the Heat. Go Spurs Go!![]()
So ing what? We scored 109 against them and WON. That's all that matters. The Lakers LOST to this same Cavs team a short time ago.
50 wins, es!!!!! GO SPURS GO!!!!!
Thanks to a fourth quarter of garbage time. You don't really believe this do you?
You obviously didn't watch the game to figure that out.
Had the Spurs played their starters the final minutes of the game, the Cavs wouldn't have reached 99. They were on pace for 88-90 points but Eyenga decided to pull a TMac performance late.
Gee is now starting for the Cavs? And he put up 18 pts and 7 boards and 2 assists against the Spurs? Weird.
Typical for a player to go off against his former team. He couldn't shoot like that when he was with our team.
At the Cavs fans sticking around hoping their team would score 100 points for a free chalupa, and they come up 1 point short....with the last guy air-balling a 3-point attempt...
It's nice playing for a team that loses 23 games in a row to get plenty of time to deveop.
I remember being one of those fans. Chalupas are good.
I must say that ex-Spur Alonzo Gee looked great in the first quarter today. he's no difference maker, but he might end up a journeyman bench guy like the Grahams. He might even be a bit better than them.![]()
So how did Pop play Timmy so few minutes? From what I can tell from the box score, there were only six minutes of small ball, which was quite nice, even if I didn't get to see the game. Hope I don't get the Heat game taped only to find out they lost.I might still watch it if the youngin's combine to ac ulate 100 mpg (Hill, Blair, Anderson, Neal, and Splitter).
To throw my hat in the ring concerning the earlier discussion, I wish Temple or Curtis Jerells (even Gee, though I'll admit JA made him redundant) had been kept over Quinn. Manu is basically 3rd string PG anyways in this type of situation, and Hill/Neal/Anderson/RJ can take care of the minutes gap left by TP. I might never buy a TP9 jersey, but damn I want him to be back by the 21st of March at the very latest!
Tbf EricB, Temple was looking like a great prospect before his injury in the summer league, but I guess that still doesn't explain his play earlier this season. Maybe him roaring out of the gate at the end of last season was a fluke, who knows. Is he still in the NBA?
P.S. It would have been stellar if CJ and Temple/Gee/Cousins were on the roster in place of Novak and Quinn. To washed up player<<< young hopefuls. Pop already had to deal with 3 fresh new faces (2 who got hurt early in the season) and a faster pace this year, I won't begrudge him wanting experience for the 12th and 13th men... much.
P.P.S. I counted up the big men game minutes whilst including Novak, and realized it equals 96 exactly.![]()
