    What does that have to do with the guy's voice. Did I say he was dropping albums? I said I personally like just vocals at times.

    MF Doom, A Tribe Called Quest, Deltron 3030, and Dr. Octagon are the only ones I really tried to listen to. I listen to Illmatic and Liquid Swords, but they didn't do anything for me.

    I'm not sure if instrumental rap like DJ Shadow counts, but Endtroducing is the best rap album I have ever heard.

    no doubt those rappers/albums are from some kind of /mu/ essentials list.

    ATLiens > anything on that list. Except maybe Illmatic, which is way overrated anyway.
