If A Ghost Is Born was 14 minutes shorter, it would have been a much better album. You should know what I'm talking about.

Dude. You may not like pop/rb or the song for that matter, but the dude can sing. Sam Tsui that is.
I do. It's still great though. Organic, tense, dynamic . . .
I appreciate the natural talent, but I need more than a good voice.
Yeah, and many of the people on American Idol can sing. Doesn't mean they can make anything worth listening to. That video you posted is 14-year-old girl territory.
Okay, I'm actually bothering to listen to Mumford & Sons, and they remind me of Fleet Foxes.
What does that have to do with the guy's voice. Did I say he was dropping albums? I said I personally like just vocals at times.
Sometimes, I don't want to hear a bunch of stuff, just the singer.
Pass.
I thought they would sound like that. Once Greg told me he liked Mumford, I said you'd probably like FF.
Yeah, I don't see that at all. I mean, both bands play acoustic instruments . . . I guess.
Yeah, you're right. Fleet Foxes is way better.
MF Doom, A Tribe Called Quest, Deltron 3030, and Dr. Octagon are the only ones I really tried to listen to. I listen to Illmatic and Liquid Swords, but they didn't do anything for me.
I'm not sure if instrumental rap like DJ Shadow counts, but Endtroducing is the best rap album I have ever heard.

Was he thinking of rappers like Gucci Mane and lil Wayne when he asked me that question?
That'd be my guess, but then again, what would I know? I like a Fleet Foxes cover band...

no doubt those rappers/albums are from some kind of /mu/ essentials list.
ATLiens > anything on that list. Except maybe Illmatic, which is way overrated anyway.
gy opinions + certainty = bag status
