Gregg Popovich on Tony Parker's quick return:

“The foie gras and truffles treatment worked really well.”

Tim Duncan on Tony Parker's fast recovery:

“I think he’s a faker, honestly. I don’t think he wanted to go on that trip. He wanted someone to beg him to come back. ‘Oh, Tony, we miss you.’ So I did it and he came back."

Dwyane Wade on Tony Parker's healing:

“He’s either the fastest healer I’ve ever seen or he only had a cramp or a bruise.”

Here's to hoping the Spurs play as well against LA as they did against Miami.

It pained me to type that out but were not catching you guys and need LA off our tails. An LA lose today puts them 4 behind the Mavs in the loss column. To have chance against LA mavs need HC.

I don't see HC as a huge advantage in Mavs/Spurs....both teams know they can win on the others floor

Umm... But don't you think if the Spurs lose, Mavs would have a better chance at catching the Spurs?

It would still take and epic collapse for SA and for the mavs to stay on their current pace to catch SA. Could it happen sure but chances are very slim. I wouldn't be upset as to who lost today though

They won't play like they did against the Heat but they can pull this off. Besides, Jesus loves the Spurs.......

I expect this one to be a closer game, but think the Spurs can pull it off. Ball movement is the key, and stopping Bynum and Odom, imo.

Dumbass Jon Barry clowning on Dejuan Blair and saying he hopes L.A. wins. Strong objective ESPN lulz

Did anyone else just hear Jon Barry say (at the half of the Bulls-Heat game) "I want the Lakers to come in here today and get a quality road win."

I'm not one to usually comment on the subtle favoritism shown to the big markets, or the Spurs flying under the radar where the national media is concerned... but c'mon, we really have a network commentator outright SAYING he wants one team to win? Not thinks they'll win, but WANTS them to win. That seems to breach some line between objective analysis (or even favoritism masked as objective analysis) and rooting for a team outright.

And yes, I know Barry hates on the Spurs pretty regularly.

Well Jon Barry riding the LA nut wagon as usual notably saying he'd like LA to get a quality road win in SA.

He's never been a big Spurs fan, but he kinda toned it down when Brent was playing. However, since the Tony/Erin "scandal", he's pretty much openly declared his bias against them.
