Agree ... just once a starter in a Phil Jackson team should get injured because he played him although they had a 30 point lead ... thats disrespecting Gasol and Odom
Very interesting why does phil want to rub it in so much? Is he concerned?

really? when was the last time lakers grabbed an Oboard since splitter is there?
Don't strawman me. My comment related to focus down the stretch run. You don't think this is a wake-up call that Pop will hammer into his team down the stretch? This is proof they need to take their play to a higher level, and now they have undeniable evidence to motivate them. This is what Pop needed to motivate them to lift.
Bynum is an issue and as yet we have no answer for him. But he didn't win them the first two games. He's not Superman. We have about 2 months to figure out how to take him out of the game. As you know, the playoffs is all about adjustments. The season is not over.
I don't understand why coaches keep their starters in when the game is basically over. What good does it do to keep rubbing it in? And why take the chance of one of your star players getting hurt in garbage time? Just shows a lack of class if you ask me. And I wouldn't be upset at all if karma came and bit the Fakers right in the cajones for this showboating.
Pau Gasol still in the game....really? Does Phil want him to blow his knee out?
We will see the advantages of these minutes that Splitter and Anderson playing now. Especially Splitter has to figure out Gasol's play. We need him to play good against Lakers towers.
Usually u throw away the game tape after a game like this, but the Spurs really need to watch it because they got DOMINATED. They're going to have to actually watch it.
Splitter playing decently![]()
Nope, it's Phil's regular rotation since like forever. He likes leaving one or two starters to make sure the bench players won't totally up and break the momentum. He isn't rubbing it in, it's for continuity.
This game is exactly why it was so important for Splitter to have a good training camp and a good start to the season and earn Pop's trust. And instead, he ed it up and got hurt. And now, Splitter is a non-factor. I think in order for the Spurs to beat the Lakers in a 7-game series, you have to ing play Splitter....and I just dont know if Pop will now....
Splitter might be a better option against the Lakers, but...
Pop has to make a stand and decide if he wants to play this pussy 3 point ball with Bonner or ing wake up and get Splitter in the rotation.
Don't strawman me. Who said it's over? If at this point in the year they need a wake up call, they are in trouble. This time of year is for peaking, not getting crominated and looking for silver linings.
Pop is not happy. No matter how you slice it.
Tiago shows he can body up with Gasol or Bynum ... he should be on the floor with Duncan against the Lakers
Splitter showing some energy at least.
Oh pray bynum s his knee up, phil!
Tiago against Bynum now
JVG is right. Novak would win the 3pt contest.
And the Spitter run is great. He was very good in one of the earlier games. I'm sure he'll play plenty against the fakers in the playoffs.
WTF is Jax doing? The game is over!
Blair with the weak stuff. Where's Malik?
Poor dude, Gas is up & nothing is cheap at a sporting event!!
