I have huge respect for Timmy, but I would hate to see him go out like Hakeem, Ewing, and even Shaq. If the Spurs don't win the le this year, should he hang it up? It's just kinda painful to watch this great HOFer reduced to being a roleplayer. It's like I'm watching the 2004 Olympics all over again.

That cut away to him in the locker room during the waning moment of Bulls/Heat was telling:::that steel brace on his knee was alarming.

+1. He should definitely retire after winning his 5th and go out a champion like DRob did.

I want to see how Duncan performs in the playoffs, before I would consider passing judgement. Duncan is coasting right now, pacing himself for the playoffs.

He's still got something in the tank. I think he's saving his best games for the playoffs. I really hope I don't get disappointed.

He can still be a solid offensive player at times. At the rate that he's declining, I would like to say that next year should be his last. Sure he's good enough to where he'd still be on a team for the next 4-5 years atleast but I don't want him to go the way of Shaq, Ewing, Mourning, etc.

Even as a Mavfan, I have a ton of respect for Duncan and I would hate to see him be reduced to a journeyman type of role player like some of those other clowns.
