    How many times do the Lakers have to coast in the regular season before you dimwitted spurfans realize that it's all just a ruse?

    Look at LAL's pathetic losses this year: Pacers, Kings, Cavs, Clippers, Bucks, Bobcats, and Spurs. LA also has had a tough time w/ legit teams: Celtics, Mavs, Heat, Magic, and Bulls.

    Yet despite all that LA needs to finish only 13-5 to have a better record than last year, and they've already matched last season's road victory total (23).

    Even when the Lakers are tanking they still improve


    The Lakers make winning look so effortless

    OP actually brings up a hidden point... Lakers are possibly "better" than last year... And yet, they're currently in the third seed. Lots of contenders have played better this year than last year. It remains to be seen if they've done enough to get over the hump.

    Better, probably, but they are shorthanded. They have like 8 players to play with. I know in playoff teams can play 8 men rotation, but if any injury happen, especially to one of the big guys , and they could end being fked up.
