True talk.
I bet Sports-center won't be reporting that series statistic.
Ponder that one es. Spurs still lead the Series. Still hold home court and will be in WCF. Enjoy your minor battle victory, Spurs will win the war, es.
(PS someone please clean out the port-a-john the sequ is full)
True talk.
I bet Sports-center won't be reporting that series statistic.
lakers are 0-1 against the heat. while the heat are winless against the other top teams. no lie.
the lakers play the heat pretty soon in miami..............we'll see how good those fakers are.
The sense of urgency led the Lakers to victory. Yeah they beat us, beat us good, but the spurs do this to. They lose by 30 to the hornets, the raptors even grizzles sometimes.
The Lakers wish they were the only team to spank the Spurs this year.....................not. The Lakers will try to hang their hat on this one, for the Spurs, it's just one game. The Good Guys will regroup and be back.

Spurs beat Lakers 100-81 on April 4 last year and there was no disaster talk in LAL and there should not be in SAS land.http://www.lakersuniverse.com/champi...lar_season.htm
I ain't worried. I'm going to be having a of a good time watching the Lakers and Mavs take each other to 7 games and killing each other doing it.
Just hope the Mavs get home court to make it extra rough on the Lakeshow.
^Maybe yesterday was a blessing in disguise for ya's, Cry. eh?
tee, hee.
go back to the basement nobody gave you permission to come upstairs
Hey...at least we didn't lose to the CAVS...![]()
This stat doesn't mean to me... one lucky .01 McDyess tip less, and we'd be the ones down 2-1... -true story.
I'm kinda worried about the Lakers actually...
..and to be honest, I'm starting to worry about how good our team really is and if we honestly have what it takes defensively to compete...
Now THIS is true talk
we would've been down 0-3 or even 0-100 if we kept shooting 30%. true ?
lol spurs lead the series but the lakers are the better team right now.
Calm down!!
Spurs still have 1 more game @ fLakers, so it could be 2-2!
Really, some of you pansy ass Spurs fans need to get a grip. The time to worry about the Spurs having enough size has long since passed. Some of us have spent the last five years talking about how the Spurs need more size, more shot blocking, more defense, and the collective response has been "Pop has four more rings than you do" and "Keith Bogans must be better in practice" and especially this season "look at the great record the Spurs have". Now the Spurs lose one regular season game that the Lakers treated like it was the playoffs and you're out here putting up alibi posts? Get the out of here with that pathetic .
The Spurs have to dance with who brung them, meaning they're going to have to hit three pointers and outscore opponents in a lot of cases this year. Charles Barkley has always said that shots don't always fall, but defense never takes a day off, so nights like yesterday are bound to happen. Are there things to work on and improve before the playoffs? Undoubtedly. But offense and three point shooting are the straw that stirs the Spurs' drink now. Live with it and hope the Spurs don't panic like you do if they have a bad shooting night.
TBH, the Lakers have nothing to prove. They're the two time defending champions. In the first two matchups, the Lakers went away from the low post game and instead relied on outside jumpshots that weren't falling. This time, they played right into the Spurs weakness.
IMO, offense and three-point shooting will only get you so far. You may see it as one game, but LA exploited flaws that need to be addressed. Unfortunately, the Spurs can't do anything about it. They've turned into a lighter version of the Phoenix Suns.
huhhh regular season, Spurs WINNING. weee goooooooodddd!
yes we now have 2 Harlem trolls!
If you're not alarmed, then quite frankly you aren't paying attention.
The Lakers exposed several glaring weaknesses in this Spur team.
1.) Tim Duncan is simply not a dangerous low post option anymore on offense or defense. The Lakers have held him to something like 10 ppg in all 3 games.
2.) The Lakers clearly have the size advantage over the Spurs and it shows up directly on the stat sheet in terms of offensive rebounds and second chance points
3.) Manu and Tony cannot drive against Bynum. He is a true defensive anchor when healthy.
4.) If the 3's aren't falling, the Spurs have no other offense to rely on outside of Parker going nutso on Fisher. Artest/Kobe can both check Manu, and Bynum can check Duncan.
