I could see the Suns stealing a bid over the Hornets especially if Paul is out for a prolonged time.
In the Eastern Conference the 7-8 teams will be of little consequence (although Philly could win a game or two), but you'll most likely see matchups of Magic-Hawks and Knicks-Heat...In the ing FIRST ROUND.
In the ECSF we'll most likely see:
Celtics-Magic
Bulls-Heat
In the Western Conference, the 4-8 seeds will consist of the Blazers, Hornets, Nuggets, and Grizzlies. I don't expect much out of the Nuggets and Hornets (pending their matchups), but the Grizzlies and Blazers will be a handful for anyone.
How sick would a Thunder-Blazers 1st round matchup be?
In the second round we are most likely looking at:
Spurs-Thunder
Lakers-Mavs.
Sweet Jesus these playoffs are going to kick ass![]()

It's just too bad the Thunder isn't in Seattle any more. A Portland vs Seattle matchup would be epic!
every year its the same expectations. But only a couple of 1st round series are decent and the rest of the rounds mostly asswhippings, injuries, ref bull and chokes.
Hope all the hype is true...unlike...well u know.
Amen to that![]()
You are such a ing dumbass.
I still think it would be fun if Portland matched up with LA in the first round so we could see Aldridge destroy Gasol and Bynum for 6 games.
tbh the destruction wouldn't compare to Aldridge-Duncan.
crofl 40 and 11 on old man river
Since that can't happen, I'd like to see Blazers/Lakers in round 1. Can G-Force bring that Bobcat magic to Portland that always seemed to work against LA?
Round 2 and on will be a war. Round 1 will have some surprises, I am sure. Not saying an upset or anythng like that, most likely an exciting series like Celtics/Bulls 2009.
It should be terrific. We'll be starting up with March Madness next week and then we segue into NBA Playoffs. Good times!![]()
spurs-suns first round matchup , i could see the suns win it
2011 looks to have a great playoffs, but it'll have a hard time matching 2006.
no shiit. the heatle will showcase the superfluous talent from south beach. dynasty in the making.
And obviously you dont know anything about the NBA
TBH
IMHO
IDIWYM
Unless Vince Carter turns into last postseason's JRich, I don't see that happening at all.
Oh, and Channing Frye needs to start dropping 20 and 10's every night, too, which ain't happenin.
+1
the last ten games leading up to the playoffs is just as good as some of those matchups....before they start we all think 7 games for 1-8....but that just hasn;t happened in the past...
