This game has blow out written all over it. Who wins? Got a coin?
I expect better than that from you...It appears in your quest to seem fair and balanced you're being a Lazy ass this morning...think about it...Miami is in NO position to be given the benefit of the doubt for a blow-out...even with their losing streak...The Portland loss was no fluke...maybe against a sub .500 team but not a team they caught off gaurd on X-Mas day without our Big man and is now seeking revenge...and not a team that's mentally preparing themselves for the final descent to 3 peat...even if Miami is motivated it won't be enough as essentially you have two motivated teams...So if you think about it logically, in that scenario if a blow-out was to happen you'd have initially swing the pendulum to LA's side....
...there's no coin tossing...perhaps on a win but certainly not a blow-out on Miami's side...THE JUST AIN'T HAPPENING....
carry on
Both teams are going to be motivated. The loser is going to be highly criticized. Maybe Miami wants to tank this to get Spo fired. Maybe Lakers want it so bad they will fold. Maybe Miami will win it and close out the regular season winning most their games.
It's the kind of game every gambler should stay away from, there are many safer bets to be made. But hey, anyone can make a prediction, I can too, but I can't predict this game, too many variables. Now, if this was the NBA finals and these two teams meet I would pick the Lakers to win the series. This game? Go ahead, bet your life savings on whoever, and best of luck.
I think this game is going to be Drews coming out or his fade back to mediocrity for good. He has shown some agression and passion after the break with his newfound comittment to D. A big defensive game from him here with all the media attention spotlighted on the game is just what the doctor ordered...
This.
So long as Drew's effort is there, I am okay with the win or loss.
Just show us some consistency when it matters.
Lakers losing this . Lakerfans seem scared
what? if Drew does not dominate against Erica, Christina and big Z he is a scrub. He won't and lakers will lose.
not scared whatsoever.
are you willing to guarantee a Laker win?
Yeah, it ain't like we're playin' the Spurs.
tee, hee.
I am not a shallow guy. I don't do bets.
Comprende?
Sons, I think I might have to catch a re-run of Jersey Shore today.
One road victory in SA gives you that much confidence eh?
Can't wait for the commentary if you happen to get your pushed in by Wade and Co.
You'd better win this one.
crofl, high opinion of your team, eh?
No, my su ions were confirmed when they won 8 straight after the AS break, holding opponents to 87ppg and 40% shooting. If the Heat win at home that doesn't change my POV. The Lakers are who we thought they were, and you know it![]()
Or maybe it's the back to back championships? Or maybe it's the fact that the spurs have beat them in the playoffs one time in the last 10 ing years. And 2003 was a long time ago. Win or lose today it doesn't change that.
I wanna see the Heat blow out the Lakers by 30 just to see the confusion by everybody.
Son, just think of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Not that confusing.
![]()
You just blew my mind.
Man this is funny. A Mavs fan actually supporting the heat especially what happened after 2006. You guys hated us with a passion and now you get on your knees for us?![]()
If the Heat decide to show up, Miami wins in a blowout.
If the Heat don't show up, it will be a close game.
"When will Lebron take his talents to the 4th quarter?"
This will be one of the few times you'll see me hoping that punkass, flailing, screaming, ref-coddled, pussified Lakers team win a game. Miami is looking for a turning point and I don't want the Heat recovering to surge to 1st or 2nd seed in the East with a big win over the Lakers. I want LA to kick'em in the teeth while they're down. And I also want to see a Heat/Knicks first round matchup. I think a good ass-whoopin tonight secures Miami's place as the 3rd seed.
