you owe that man an apologyPERIOD
Nope. Ln pussied outPERIOD
you owe that man an apologyPERIOD
And thus my comment that your team relies on the 3 more. duh
Ain't getting off that easy, bub.
You owe that man an apologyPERIOD
Ln pussied outPERIOD
The reliance on the 3 ball won't be what does the Spurs in if they should meet the Lakers. It's the fact that the Spurs won't be able to keep the Laker frontline off the offensive glass.
On sunday the Lakers shot more 3's than the Spurs, made about the same %,
over the season the Spurs avg 20 attempts per game, Laker avg 18, not much difference really, the Spurs don't rely on the much more the Lakers do, the Spurs percentage is higher 40% to 35%. They don't rely on them anymore than the Laker really, the perception is different because the Spurs are better at it. It doesn't hurt their overall fg%, they nearly identical as the Lakers, 47.5% Spurs-46.7% Lakers
Wasnt my point. I dont know whats up cheese's ass but the comment was that both Miami and Spurs rely a lot on the 3 and nothing more. And that of course brought in the Laker comments. The Spurs rely on the 3 more than the Lakers and you comment only validates that. The Lakers rely more on the frontline. Nothing huge about it... just my opinion. I would think that with 2 more attempts and a much better 3pt % that would be obvious... I guess not.
Tell that to Kobe![]()
The TNT crew seems to feel there were a lot of "fortunate for Miami calls down the stretch."
Fair enough. It's just you seemed to imply that the Spurs' 3 point shooting tendencies were some kind of weakness, like say, the D'Antoni era Phoenix Suns, who can be described as a team that "lived and died by the 3."
noooo.... just saying they rely on it more than Lakers and I think they do.
Im not at all worried about Kobe. And since you feel he is so awful, I don't understand why you bring him up daily.
You talk way more about the Lakers than you do your own team and your world revolves aroung HCA.
I know it personally hurts you E that your guys have this amazing record this season and yet nobody, and I mean nobody with any sense, predicts them winning the ship. It's going to hurt to have that Mav season... but hey... you can always pull out the we won the HCA banner card.![]()

Hm Giuseppe left the thread. Guess that means he pussied outPERIOD
Laker fans should never complain about the refs. They are used to the refs being too biased in favor of them. In rare cases where it is close to even, they freak out about it. Where's are ref advantage? It's sick really.
Win something... then ask.
Mavsfan as all of us didnt know cobbler is in the lakers rotation. He was in the 2009 finals rotation. Hes looking to repeat.
Spurs wont mind doing them justice at their homecourt denying the repeat a la 2003![]()
18 three pointers per game: Acceptable.
20 three pointers per game: ZOMG UR TEAM RELIES ON THE THREE.
Perhaps you guys would shoot a better % from downtown if you didn't see like this in the post-game:

Correction.... 3 peat. You know... that next step you take after your REPEAT. Oh wait... nevermind. My bad, sorry.![]()
So are you saying 2 shots a game don't make a difference?
So tell me, of the three teams... Lakers, Spurs, Heat... number them in order who you think rely on the 3 more.
I have it at:
1- spurs
2- heat
3- lakers
2 shots a game doesn't make the difference between "fine", and "complete reliance to the extent that we would average 5 points per game if it wasn't for the 3 point arc" which Laker fans are clinging to.
The Spurs are better shooters than LA. Why wouldn't they use that weapon?
Nevermind...
My comments stand and it's my opinion the spurs and heat rely more on the 3. I didnt say it wasnt because they shoot better its a fact they do and of course you would use that advantage. Thus my post that they rely on it. Not quite seeing the argument here.
Let me ask it this way. If you took the 3 pt line away. Which team would benefit most?
I never know how a repeat felt tbqh, could be the fact that the spurs like other teams (although successfully) have beaten the lakers before playing 5 on 8.
FYI 8 is the extra three counting the refs
It could be argued that its 5 on 9 counting stern.
But hey important thing is lakers are going for their threepeat and the regular season doesnt matter and that kobe is still the black mamba/ 30% shooter.![]()
