Yep, that's why these two championships are near surreal because most of us (definitely me) thought it would never transpire. That he would be denied and driven near mad with the denial, and us as well as we sided him in our collective angst.
What happened is Media never told the story. Because they wrote the story early on (after Daddy's/Phil's departure & Colorado) and the resultant reality of the first ring in '09 and the confirmation in '10 did not fit the story they'd written.
