What I don't understand why nobody in Bryant's life will ever stand up to him.

Seriously, he's been ballhogging like mad and running his own offense for almost 14 years now. The entire universe knows they're a better team when he shoots maybe 15 times. Obviously his ego is too enormous to change his ways, but that doesn't mean other people shouldn't try.

What is the Heat's weakness? Bigs. they have the worst frontline in the league.

What is the Lakers' strength? Bigs. They have the best frontline in the league.

Is this rocket science? Is it rocket science that Bryant shot 21 times and 38% from the floor tonight and his team lost? And Bynum got 5 shots (making 4 of them)?

Also, Bryant is playing against arguable the best defensive wing tandem in the league (Wade/James).

Believe me, I love it when LA loses. But for the life of me, I'll never understand why Bryant is so popular. He's the anti-team poster boy.

Shaq stood up to Kobe and we all saw what happened to Shaq afterwards. I think the rest of the lakers feel that if they ever go stand up to Kobe that they will be traded. All these guys love LA so they keep their mouth shut when it comes to Kobe

Actually, you're exactly right. Very good point.

And obviously it was Bryant who had Shaquille shipped out of town. That was blatantly obvious to everybody in the universe except for Laker fans.

What is his FG in these 20+ shot games? Looks pretty low from inspection.

    The record is:

    Kobe: 5

    Duncan: 4

There is nothing else. The above cyphers comprehensively settle all accounts for Bryant. By setting Duncan's sun one knows instinctively that Daddy has been eclipsed as well.

    Kobe: 5

    Duncan: 4

is so pure that it is astounding upon gross examination.

    & I invented it.

That's why with the Back-to-Back came the 5-4 count by default.

Invented is a bit strong. I think "introduced" it might be a better descriptor.

Asked & answered:::if he rings over Kobe's dead body, it'd be:::

    Duncan: 5

    Kobe: 5

    advantage Duncan.

If Duncan rings without passing over Kobe's dead body, it'd be:::

    Duncan: 5

    Kobe: 5

Believe me, I love it when LA loses. But for the life of me, I'll never understand why Bryant is so popular. He's the anti-team poster boy.
Ill give you the readers digest version and help you out a little. The second he steps on the floor he makes his teammates better. He has lead the team in assists for over a decade. Go figure. He's arguably the leader and motivator of the team. He puts in the work. He's one of the best players in the game and in his 14th year doing so. And here is the part you just cant grasp, he's a WINNER! Does he make mistakes and take terrible shots at times? Everybody and their brother knows this. It's the nature of the beast when you have a "scoring" shooting guard.

But again, here lies the rub....

Could the Lakers be even better if Kobe was perfect and not only played a great scoring role but was the ultimate distributor above his current team leading totals? ABSOLUTELY! Could they be better if he took a better shot selection night in and night out? Sure I can go with that. But as it is we live with the bad as well as the good and he's won a lot more games for us that he's lost.

And our back to back les is just a burden we winners will have to live with along with our team malcontent.
