^^^^^^^^^ Oh yeah, and it only took them 9 months
Found this on PC gamer. It's a Sci-Fi, multiplayer, FPS made by 9 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!) people. NINE ING PEOPLE. The trailer and screenshots are amazing. I was a massive fan of the mechwarrior series, and have been awaiting something along these lines since the demise of that fantastic franchise.
Make sure you watch the trailer till the very end, where you'll actually see the pit view.
If 9 peeps can come up with some stuff like this, why exactly are we regularly suffering through complete from multi-million dollar dev houses?

Looks beautiful. A little anime-ish, but very nicely done. We'll have to see if the gameplay is as good as the concept.
Watching that makes me wish theyd make another Chromehounds. Armored Core ing sucks and the last Mechwarrior that was any good was Mech4.
Looks great but since they only have 9 people there will probably be a lot of bugs and it won't be balanced right.
pretty sure it's a long way from being finished

It really doesn't look amazing at all... it really wasn't impressive until you said 9... in that case they did a great job
I think the artwork is impressive, but obviously some people won't like it, that's cool. I'm a big geek for Mech-type games, so that goes along with my thinking.
Being realistic, many of these indy games never come to fruition due to a lack of funds.
Hopefully they can finish this, or get more funding from an outside source
It looks small though... I have to assume that's the only scenario?
I'm not really into Mech games, but it looks pretty well done.
It looks fun, but the preview levels do look small - like maybe the environments are for VS fighter experiences and not expansive adventure levels. If the trailer was shorter and didn't seem like they were stretching it, I'd be all on board for them getting more funding...but it just doesn't look like it has a grasp of what type of a game it is yet.
Still, for 9 guys that's fantastic and really shows you how much wasted resources go to ty games.
I would totally dig that... but wow they need to design that pit. It looks absolutely horrible. Why go to all that trouble to make a city look so good and then outfit the player with the cartoony foreground?
Wow, this looks awesome.
And the pit doesn't look that bad to me. Like, what don't you like about it?
It just looks really cartoony.
Edit: Don't get me wrong, the game looks incredible. I just don't think the pit blends well with the rest of the game.

I loved Armored Core on the PS1. I've been tossing the idea around of picking up Armored Core:For Answer, for nostalgia purposes.
I honestly dont see the problem you have with the pit.... I think it looks just fine considering your not going to be paying attention to the "console" in your mech for this game.
