Which team is the oldest?
The Lakers are the second oldest team in the NBA, while the Spurs are only the seventh oldest.
Kobe, Fisher, Artest and Gasol are all 30 +. If the Lakers don't win this year, their window is officially closed, while the Spurs have an infusion of young blood to stay good for years to come.
Which team is the oldest?
According to the survey I read from January the oldest team is the MIAMI HEAT!

Guess what else is old - DINOSAURS, and they're awesome.
It's the Weighted Average by minutes played that carries the most weight.
Assuming that's true, I'm not sure there's any clearer indication of the role experience and age plays in team success. All of the successful teams in the league are also the oldest teams.
Well look at it like this.. We are old because Duncan is old and without him there is no chance to win a le..
You're tired because you're old.
Oh, and in a mildly related story.
This is what I think of when people call the Spurs dinosaurs.

Spurs were called old in 2003, 2005, and 2007...I've got to the point where I take it as a compliment.
Isn't Steve Nash old, too? I don't hear anyone talking about that.
this should be in the OP.
the right-hand side is what really matters, avg age per minute played.
Thunder are going to be ing beasts in a few years
A lot of old players like Duncan, but young ones like Neal, Hill, Blair, Tiago.
Yep, that's how averages work!
