How did Brewer go against Kobe? Slow him down at all?
Marion played Kobe Well. Brewer got some minutes ...but nothing much Kobe hit a jumper and got some Ft's out of him.

Bynum and Marion were the best players in this game ... TBH.

They certainly don't think he's clutch, though.

    Thanks.

That just confirms my theory about these games amongst the top teams - they don't mean much. The coaches are holding back their playoff weapons.

7 game series are all about adjustments, and right now all three coaches are guarding their secrets and waiting for the semis/WCFs.

When Bynum plays like this... and the ball gets pounded inside constantly the Lakers cant be beaten.. simple as that.

If the Lakers go through the playoffs with Pau and Bynum combining for less then 25 FG a night the opposition will always be in with a chance.

Mehh. wouldnt say that. RC is not CIA like Pop ... he said he would not shy away from how important this game was. They wanted it hoped they could measure up ...and they did not. We played good, not great. Kobe, LO and fish shoty like ass and we STILL lead almost wire to wire ...

If Kobe is willing to allow Bynum and Gasol to take over games like that during the playoffs, the Lakers will be hard to beat. But it's hard to imagine Kobe not getting his shots in for a big playoff game.

Still, seems strange not to throw Brewer at Kobe for extended periods. Bet we'll see that in the playoffs.

Shove your theories up your loose ass, got. These two teams were trying to win. Watch the game before you come in here making your lame ass comments, .
Such an angry, phobic . Do you have to be that way? Get some counselling, seriously.

I have no doubt both teams were trying to win. I also have no doubt that RC, Pop and Phil aren't putting all of their tactical cards on the table at this point.

One would think Carlisle was trotting out those ty lineups (Barea) to hide his cards for the playoffs.. but unfortunately it was simply due to his stupidity..and obviously its much more difficult to hide your stupidy than it is to hide your cards.

Lakeshow should of won this by 10-12 IMO. Too many missed FT's & they let Marion get too many putbacks & easy buckets. Andrew has matured quite a bit, he has a certain swagger that I enjoy & Phil is finally putting some trust in him. He's a lot more valuable than Pau since he actually takes contact.

lol peja. so much for getting play time. lakers controlled the game from start to finish. at least they fixed their rebounding midway cause in that first quarter is was laughable the rebounds the lakers were allowing

Healthy Bynum > Pau. Pau doesnt even try to play defense most of the time. Its a red carpet to the rim when he's the center.

You sure about that? We've been hard to beat the last three years and yet Kobe has been Kobe. Look... worry about your own team and quit giving these lame ass takes.
If 6-24 is Kobe being Kobe then the Lakers are in for a tough postseason.

When Artest plays like he did tonight... and Kobe plays like he did tonight..

    Artest > Kobe.

They could put him in for defensive purposes and have Dirk go 1on1 for some offensive possessions in a row while having on the other side of the court where Dirk is.

OT: Man is Terry a choke artist, how do you miss that?
