Seems like while western powers like the Lakers and up & coming Thunder (my predicted next western conf power) are rolling towards the playoffs, the two texas teams are stumbling/bumbling toward the finish line.

I hope the Spurs get their mojo back come playoff time otherwise this is going to be another short playoff run.
you're the only person I've seen predict the Thunder to be the next western power. prahps brah

I rooting for Dallas to start winning games after Friday. I'd rather have the Lakers playing a 7 game series in Dallas than L.A. I think it helps the Spurs chances of beating either of those teams in the finals (assuming Spurs make it that far).

If L.A. gets HCA, then Dallas is dead.

^ I wish too. But not gonna happen. Dallas might have a hard time keeping distance from OKC.

Doesn't Dallas not get HC because we win the division though?? Better record or not i think LA gets the HC as a division winner..

HC is based on record. If their records are tied, the tiebreaker is head-to-head record and then, I think, whichever has the better division record (LA) so DAL needs to win one more game than LA.

    1-1 between lakers and mavs.
still one game against each other in the regular season. [31.03. @ LA]

Did you think LA was done and that was not going to happen? I knew what they were waiting for, the Spurs used to do that all the time too after a slow start in their runs.
