It's not bad, still prefer Chrome though.
It's out now. Really looking nice, fast and compatible. I hate the tabs on the side of the address bar but overall it's great.

It's very nice
Not as good as Firefox, but it's getting there.
As OP said, the fact that the tabs are on the side of the address bars kinda sucks
I like the fact that you can pin your favorite websites (windows 7)
What happened?
Have so many security holes been plugged that they had to make a new browser again?
never liked or trusted IE.
chrome > ff > safari > ie > opera
Safari sucks on Windows 7
In case you hadn't noticed, every browser and just about every plug in had an update in the past week or so. That's because this week there is a security challenge where hackers try to, well, hack those programs for a $10,000 prize.
chrome>
firefox coming this month so this is basically useless
yeah i am sure the new FF may be as fast as Chrome was a year ago now![]()
Firefox is about add-ons and features, not pure speed.
I mean, do you need your browser to be .25 seconds quicker at loading a page?
I meant firefox became sluggish after I used it for 4 years, and I switched to Chrome about a year ago, and for me there is a noticeable difference in start up time and loading pages. Plus I can sync it to my google account and have all my bookmarks anywhere.
Been using 9 Beta for 1 year now. Sucks!!! IE still sucks! unbelievable these ppl can put out ty browser after ty browser.
yeah, it's fast, but what good is that if it works only with 75% of the websites

Meh. I hardly ever notice any serious slowdown with FF. Yes, Chrome is faster, but FF is still pretty insanely fast compared to what I used to use for a browser. For me, it's the difference between near-instantaneous and somewhat close to instantaneous.
for me it was like going from IE to FF.
Chrome is just pure speed but it's still GARBAGE. Poor customization, poor handling, poor interface.
I definitely noticed a speed difference when I was using Chrome. The add-ons and the ability to save sessions eventually brought me back to Firefox, though. If Chrome ever picks up the few features I use on Firefox, I'd switch in a heartbeat.
Recently switched to FF and I will be hard-pressed to ever switch again. Using 4.0 Beta.
Opera is better than Chrome as an alternative to Firefox tbqh fwiw imo as per the usual
Ad Block Plus is now available for Chrome, that is a huge plus. There are session saver plugins too. I haven't run across anything I used in FF that isn't available for Chrome.
I prefer FF over Chrome because the name and logo are cooler.![]()
+1
Opera is really nice; fast enough for me, nice UI, shortcuts options, etc...
I also like the Bitorrent integration - although I prefer to use a separate torrent client.
haters gonna hate
FF user, cbf changing all the time, makes no sense at all
