As of today, 3/18/2011, if you need a basket as time is expiring, who do you give the ball to?
last second shot? ...kobe
...need a playmaker on offense? (shot or drive) Wade.
Defensively? KG Artest and Dwight ...
Need a drive straight to the hoop or to set up a shot for someone else or to get a whistle ...Lebron.
Mid range jumper only? Dirk or Pierce ...
3 pointer? Ray
even at his advanced age
I concur
didnt stipulate the score.
make it 'down by 1'.
doesnt matter how the bucket is scored, you just need a bucket.
Dirk, Donyell Marshall, Chris Webber.
Need a 2? Give Dirk the ball and watch him go to work.
3? Ray Allen!
Need a 4 pt play ?
Anyone who is being guarded by Antonio Davis or Jameer nelson
Derek Fisher and timekeeper with palsy.
In this scenario, the player chosen is going to be taking the shot no matter what and not passing to a teammate, right? That being the case, I choose Kobe, because if you need a basket to win at the end of the game, then he's likely had (and missed) at least four or five shots in the previous two to three minutes. Plus he's used to going one-on-five with no conscience.
Seriously, Carmelo and Pierce are probably the best end of game shooters. Nash is really good if his team is up a point or down by 20.
just realized I should have made the voters visible.
oh well.
agree a top 15 PF like Mr. West should be on the list.
