I'm thinking 90-8 may be a bit too optimistic (but it would be nice).

65-68 wins, this team is deep.
Excellent analysis. We get the home court clinched ASAP, then the 2nd five gets valuable PT while the starters rest and are healthy for the playoffs. I have to think it would be a pretty big upset if the Spurs don't win it this year.

65 an 17 (or less if Pop decides to sit entirely the entire top 6 when they clinch top seed).

One game you won't be winning is the last game of the season.

Fair point as in the regular season after killing the LAL in the next to last game of the season despite playing scrubs 1/2 the game the Spurs will tank the last game.

LAL better start planning then that fishing trip after Mavs take them out in 2nd round

I think 62-20 mainly because that record will probably lead the NBA by 2 games. Letting Pop skip the last game.

For that to happen we will have to beat at least one time this teams Celtics, Miami, Dallas.

If we do that i am quite sure 62-20 makes the NBA best.
We will have to go 16-10 wich is highly probable, even when looking at the schedule.

As of now, in order to tie that record top teams would have to go.

    East
    Celtics 22-4
    Miami 21-5
    Chicago 24-4

    West
    Dallas 22-4
    LA 24-1
    OKC 27-1

    My 2 cents

So far, their record is 12-5 since I made this thread, and that is the exact record record that I had them at to this point, so that 64 wn record season is right on track.

Remember this summer when everyone was saying the Spurs would struggle to win 50 games? Remember that? That was awesome . . .

Don't act like you saw something like this. Because you didn't. Nobody did. The Spurs record shouldn't be as good as it is, but obviously everyone is thrilled with what they have done.

No one gives a about the regular season anyways, all anyone ever argued was does this team have enough to win a le. We still don't know.

Also, remember when every RJ lover tooted their horn because of his only good month of basketball in the very beginning of the season. That was awesome too...
