Bobcats still end up with 98 points.

Despite the win, defense and relying on the three continues to be a worry. Even if Tim is in the game and blocks his usual 3 shots we still give up 92 points which isn't a GREAT defensive effort by any means.

George led the team in minutes and he's supposedly the greatest perimeter defender on the team.

Fact. But that doesn't negate the point of our defense and relying on the three point ball all year being something to worry about.

In the playoffs without both or just one working we could be bounced by Memphis in the first round.

It won't happen, but just saying..

I'd take more out of the 1st half than the 2nd half. It's normal to have a let-down in a game when you have a big lead. Especially when your playing your 2nd and 3rd stringers at the end of the game....

If duncan was there with they might have scored 85 and below. you saying that duncan's 3 blocks take away 6 points is correct. But TD's presence in the paint changes a players confidence on his shot. It's not all about the stats bro

Why work harder than you need to if you're winning comfortably?

Thats easy, to fine tune the defense and get it ready for the playoffs.

Saying that though starters played min minutes in the second half, it was an offensive show by the bench to show pop what they can do.
A bit like watching the Rookie game lol what a joke that is.

Dude, accept the fact that we're a 3 point shooting team already. We currently have 56 wins to 13 losses, which tells you that the three point shooting is on more often than it's off. 69 games into the season, I highly doubt that's going to change before or during the playoffs.

It's who this team is. We don't have a dominant Duncan down low anymore - so the 3 ball figures in heavily to the strategy.

Hate to break it to you, but if we didn't rely on the 3 ball this year - we'd be looking at a team that had about as much chance to win the championship as last year's team. As is, we've given ourselves at least a puncher's chance at the le, if not being one of the favorites.

Not bad for a team whose window was closed.

Pop sat Duncan, would've probably not played Dice at all. Sent out Steve Novak for a 3 point display and just wanted to get this game out of the way. Back to back game after a satisfying win in Dallas, he just didn't want injuries heading into this week.

They set the tone in the ifrst half and accomplished what they wanted, a huge 20 point lead in the third and sat the starters.

Play to the strength of your roster! We have 3pt shooters you can't just make people good defenders.

Do ya think Pop may have been influenced by the way we got run out of the playoffs last year when Phoenix (not a defensive monster by any measurement) rained threes down on us?

The problem is going to come when we play good defensive teams that pressure the 3pt shooters.
