He is getting better every week in the new system.
Felton in 31.1 minutes per game on the Nuggets -
10.1 PPG, 6.7 APG, 40.7% shooting, 4.2 RPG, 1.3 SPG, 1.9 TOPG
anyone who thought this guy was legitimately good and thought he was a reason Amare was playing so well this year
He is getting better every week in the new system.
His last game he went 2-11 scoring a total of 4 points. Neat "getting better" argument.
IIRC Felton's stats were already starting to nosedive in his last few weeks as a Knick as well.
Never liked Felton. Whenever Jameer Nelson can destroy you in the playoffs you know you're at best an average guard tbh.
Why didn't Amare's play take a hit when he went from Nash to Felton? Why did Felton's play take such a huge hit when he went from Amare to Denver's bigs?
Felton's a solid point guard who can really defend. His numbers were inflated in New York and he's never been a great shooter, but he's nothing to laugh at imho
Anybody trying to make a claim Amare "needed" a PG spoon feeding him was clearly reaching in the first place.
I was laughing at the people who claimed Raymond Felton was the reason for the success he had early on in the season in NY. I'd dig through the 400 post Amare vs. Bosh thread and find the posts but I'm too lazy to.
This thread is indirectly calling those who know who they are out. Them avoiding this thread like the plague doesn't surprise me.
he still shoots bad imho.
DOK I understand you love amare, but come on man.
felton is one of the best at attributing the ball tbh, just shoots the ball bad which negates it all. he's a mid-level pg with horrible shooting & excellent play-making
Would you rather have Felton or Rondo?
The depths some went to to discount how good Amare was are why I keep bringing it up. If you don't want me to make fun of the logic that Raymond ing Felton is a reason Amare is playing well this year, then get mad at the people who brought that re ed argument to the table.
Can't trust stats from D-Antoni players. The stats always make them look better than they really are, due to the system. Look at Boris Diaw, QRichardson, and Barbosa since going to other teams. Don't forget Tim Thomas, their playoff hero...
errrr, what's wrong with getting 11 and 7 from your backup PG?
actually a decent question considering they are quite similar, but I'll probably take Rondo because of his size.
