Yup. Also, DraftExpress says that he has regressed.
tbh, if we use the pick, there will be some sort of issue with whoever we select. You just don't get a 6'10" complete player ready to go at #30. If he regressed, and is slipping, that works in our favor.
Regardless of whether his stroke may come back, and looking beyond the unimpressive rebounding for his size, you have to question the intelligence of somebody (on the cusp of being offered millions of dollars if he can display a commitment to conditioning) who continues playing fat, don't you? Guy just doesn't have the height of a Curry or the talent of a Z. Randolph to give him a pass on something as elementary as that.
This guy keeps getting posted in mocks around #29 these days, has anyone seen this kid play before? Good size, can play inside and outside, played very well against top teams while in college.
definitely not defending Cs at this point from what I haven seen and if drafted most likely scenario would be him finding Pop's dog house if he didn't make some serious changes in terms of commitment and discipline
I agree with some who see the spurs taking a big at #29. Right now I am leaning towards this big man as my #1 choice. Can score inside and outside, good size, and very good rebounder.
I am hoping that with measurement wonders vucevic and tyler possibly moving up to the 1st that this kid can make it to #29 for the spurs. He reminds me of Kurt Thomas with his inside outside game and just overall build. He definatly needs to work on conditioning but his game is already pretty refined for the NBA and he has very good size.
-Trey Thompkins is among the highest usage players in our sample at 17.5 possessions per-game (2nd). His perimeter orientation limits him to some degree in terms of efficiency, as he was only able to register 0.916 points per-possession overall.
