What the does it matter if Jordan had to guard them or not. Those players I named were the primary scorers and defenders on their teams. Jordan had to play those teams. So what that those teams sent out a Mookie Blaylockto guard him.
You were talking about guard compe ion. Isiah was guard compe ion.
And yes, the compe ion in the 80's was fierce. That was kinda my point. Jordan couldn't break though until Bird/Magic got old.
Kinda like how Kobe couldn't break through until Jordan got old.
so what are we gonna do..travel back in a time machine...calm your nerves sweet heart...this is my world...you just a squirrel trying to get a nut...![]()
By "the media" he means every single human being on earth that knows anything about basketball.
easyPeriod??? You think bad boy pistons would of let Kobe get 81??? And MJ had it easy?
Yes.
We can start building it using that 500 you owe DPG. Then I can go far enough back in time to kick your mother in the stomach while she is carrying you.
but but but....Kobe was 2nd option wasn't he...you mean like Shaq couldn't break through...what's it gonna be you can't have your cake and eat it to...Kobe never faced MJ enroute to the finals...MJ did face Issiah's teams all the time...
come again...![]()
listen my point is simple...when MJ had to face real men in the 80's he faltered badly...He was KG in the 80's or even worse....when all the real men got old or left the game he flourished...and became an international icon because of it...and that's why you're still trying to suck the dirt off his balls even after they been sucked dry...there was no compe ion for the guy...like there is for Kobe on a nightly basis...MJ wasn't challenged at all in the 90's....easyPERIOD!!!
Kobe is still the 2nd option, possibly third
lol contradicting yourself
I got you...![]()
How good were the Lakers without Shaq or Gasol?
hey you want me to bring up the stats showing that as a 2nd option Kobe's numbers were better than Duncan's as a 1st option....You ers can't win this argument....
Listen Immma keep it real with you for a second...The 1st option in SA is usually the 3rd option in LA....![]()
He wouldn't know because he didn't watch em' then
The only way to make this comparison would be how well the Bulls did without Pippen compared to how well the Lakers did without Shaq and Gasol. Show me those stats.
LOL Bringing up Duncan when I'm not even a Spurs fan. Kobe had his time to shine as the first option, and he led them straight home sans the Suns
It's not about Shaq or Gasol it's about Kwame and Smush Parker and Chucky Atkins....
Kobe won 3 without Gasol and 2 without Shaq
Shaq only won 1 without Kobe.... you want me to spank your baby ass some more...![]()
3-1, quit
Shaq won him 3, Gasol won him 2.
someone should post Kobe's career Finals stats
lol 6-24
lol only 1 regular season mvp
Yea but how many did he win without Gasol or Shaq?
Show me those stats.
He beat the Pistons the year following their 2nd championship.
My OP says it all...
But you're comparing Apples to Oranges....Pippen almost got them to the finals twice without MJ...Gasol never made it anywhere...Pippen is top 50 player all time and HOF'er...Gasol is not a HOF'er and can barely make the All-star team....So Gasol makes Kobe marginally better...it's the team around Kobe the ulative effect of good players at multiple positions....that's why Kobe is winning now...
Well then it's not about Pippen.
It's about John Paxson and Dave Corzin and Orlando Wooldridge.
