Seriously, please do. Then read your own "book it" bull and tell me who should be embarrassed. I've never said we've got this championship in our back pocket. I know it's not going to be easy, if it's even possible. Everyone jumped ship in 2005 as well. Timmy being down is horrible in every way, but if our guys can't find a way to win about 6 more games, then we'll be in 2nd place. So be it, but I don't see that happening. My point is you can't jump ship because Tim got hurt or we lost our 14th game at the end of March. I've always respected your optimism before now. If Hill, RJ, and the Red Rocket don't get it together, then bookmark my comments for May!
Who are you and what have you done with TampaDude?
Red Rocket willl not get it together man, book it! THE OTHERS? MAYBE! BUT HE IS IN PLAYOFF FORM NOW and it shows! He is him, period. Bonner will never get it together late, period.

Just an open ended thread. I just feel iffy about this team due to many of our guys inconsistencies. It truly grieves me that RJ and bonner get paid what they due. They should both hand there checks to the rookie out of Towson. Please share all.
    Your spelling is atrocious.

If RJ doesn't step up the coming week with Timmy out, he'll be gone next season.

I was one of those, that didn't think bonner was such a bad signing, but with playoffs coming and yet another predictable choke job on its way like all the other years he's been here, no choice but had to change my mind.

RJ needs to step up big time from here on out. He needs to make himself a factor.

The San Antonio Suns are going nowhere fast....can't wait until they go down as one of the best regular season teams to not do in the playoffs. Way too many threes. Manu for some reason has fallen in love with the 3, but I hope it's only something he's doing in the regular season and something he'll stop doing as often when it truly counts. I hope he's just saving his body for the playoffs, because if in the postseason he isn't all up in that paint's ass every single game just like Tony, this team is going nowhere. It's just impossible to stay that hot from 3 as a team throughout the championship run. 50-60% of his 3PTA should go to Gary Neal, he seems to know when and when not to take a 3. What I've noticed through many games is that when Manu starts a game hot, he basically uses it as an excuse to take a slew of jack ass forced, stupid shots. He's got to play with more discipline when he's hot and use it to his advantage to help the team.

Oh yeah, and the Lakers are totally gonna rape us in a 7 game series with their height and length. The Spurs simply cannot match up with Gasol, Bynum, and Odom. And Tim going down with an ankle injury like this definitely hampers the team, his ankle won't be as strong for the playoffs, not that they ever were.

In short: I'm not feeling so confident.

Jesus everybody relax we gave a of an effort to a really hot team in a hard place to play and certainly should've won. We give this effort everynight and Pop gives Splitter some more burn we'll lock up HCA without a doubt.

And they can't match our backcourt or bench. This team will be different for the playoffs they've been there enough to know the difference.

    They should put Denver away.

I don't get it. Their record is not that good now.

They have some good role players, and their advantage in the frontcourt counts for much more than our bench advantage, especially in a 7 game series. Can't expect to knock down 15 threes per game throughout the playoffs, however, the Lakers bigs and long wings (kobe, barnes, artest) will be d-ing it up and rebounding every single game, that's for sure.

    Uh so?

Even with TD their basketball level has not went up.

Still I think the spurs can manage to play great ball, but I don't know if other teams will just smash them inside.

He's back! Yeah last night was pretty horrible. You know the guys feel the same. It's time for a win in Oregon! or Tennesse! We're going to be alright..a rested TD, baptism by fire for Tiago, and everybody else stepping up a notch! To steal your line,"book it!"

Yep, ask Dallas, Suns and Cleveland how much the reality of that record did for them in the playoffs.

    well they call tiago out to play and he does everything right , makes nene shy away from driving and is playing good D. until pop brings his sperm disposal bonner in to log 22 minutes with a -14 {3rebounds(zero offensive reb)/ 7points /in 22minutes} hahaha tiago's +11{ 7rebounds (2 0f them being offensive)/ only 4points /but only 17minutes}

Are you suggesting that the Spurs will follow in the footsteps of the Mavericks? What kind of Spurs fan are you?
