North Carolina is still alive and Duke isn't. All is right with the ing universe...
Good to hear you're back in the game bro![]()
As Avon and Stringer say, the game is the game. Always.
That feel when they back stabbed each other simultaneously, and one loses his entire empire, and spends time in jail, while the smart, business savvy one is dead.
Mono and I are the Avon and Stringer of the NBA Forum. It's time for me to reclaim my empire.
I don't know that feel... or what the you're talking about.
Bout time the real Findog came back...the emo version was painful to watch, tbh
You've never watched The Wire? It's an essential thing every human should do in one of they're many lifetimes.
How would you rank the seasons? Here's mine:

When was he doing that? I barely logged into this forum for five months. Can somebody fill me in on the backstory?

I really can't decide which I like more out of the first two. I had a new found respect for season 2 after the second watch, like most people.
4 is my absolute favorite, though. It's just some crazy stuff. You go from rooting for Carcetti, to hating his guts. The kids, Bodie, etc...
I think the problem with Season 2 is that although it's very good, the series is just not the same when it gets away from the streets. At least we can all agree that 5 is the worst.
No, I haven't watched The Wire.
I'm pretty pissed off that Homicide: Life on The Street got little fanfare, but The Wire is loved by everybody apparently.
I'll still watch it eventually, though.
Don't click on this thread anymore, then. You'd get too many spoilers.
Got the boxset of that too. Both great shows with terrific writing, but The Wire was a little edgier and each season addressed a different part of what's wrong with society. Season 1 will always be my favorite.
I reckon I ought to buy the set. Not that bad at under a hundred bucks.
The other amazing thing about Season 4 is that McNulty is arguably the most important character in the series, at least on the police side, and he's barely in it. He's a great character, he's the closest thing to a lead in such an ensemble series, and he has like 30 minutes of screen time in the entire season, a season which some people laud as the best. What other show could you say that about? Would Cheers be good without Ted Danson?
Yeah, I was checking out some stuff on The Wire the other day, and Freamon actually appeared in more episodes than McNulty.

Go Heels!!!!
It's this exact reason why I put Season 4 ranked 4th. It's amazing, but McNulty is probably my favorite character. Bad reason, but whatev

I think Marlo kinda sucks tbh. He's not an interesting character to me, although Jamie Hector did a good job with it.
