That isn't the point. DPG was saying the Spurs would sweep the Hornets even if they hsd West. I was bending him over repeatedly to show him why he was wrong. The Hornets were good enough to beat alot of good teams with West. Its obviously different now with Team Leader out, but I never said the Hornets had a chance without him. DPG was just trying to troll as usual.

After today the Hornets have 6 of their final 9 games at home, with only 2 of those 6 against playoff teams (MEM and POR). Hornets should be able to hang on, imo...maybe even keep the 7th seed if they're lucky.

You gotta be joking. They're schedule is tough as . They still have the Lakers, Portland, Memphis twice, Dallas, Utah, Phoenix, Indiana, and Houston. There is not one easy win in there. Indiana is playing well, so is Houston. Phoenix is always tough.

Houston is actually 3.5 games back...with 5 Home and 5 away left. NOH has 6 home and 3 away left.
They might, but they might not hold onto the 7 seed thats for sure...
NO's schedule is tougher than Houston's but that 3 game (really 4 with the tiebreaker) lead is what will get them in. Though I do wonder who owns the tiebreaker if NO, MEM and HOU have a 3-way tie.

son if West was healthy, the Hornets would have a legit chance at beating the Spurs in a 7 game series and YOU KNOW IT. you may not want to admit it, but the Hornets have beaten the out of the Spurs twice this season and once on their home floor. Not many other teams can say that.
without West in the lineup however, the Spurs will win. no doubt.
