Spurs win big, book it.
These Spurs losses are a lot of fun, I must admit. Especially that last one where that French fellow spilled your plums all over the great Northwest.
Do I dare aspire to three in-a-row?
Ya darn tootin', ya big Fig Newton.
Maul 'em, Grizz!

Sat, Dec 18 @ATT W112-106 OT
Tue, Mar 1 @Memphis L109-93
Spurs barely won @ATT, then got smashed in Mem, with Tim.
MEM is a real problem for Spurs, and possible first round opponent.
We'll see tonight and Monday night how they respond from not one, but two straight hard-fought but bonehead losses.
Note: Tony's face to see if he's ready in Memphis or if he's a detached, somewhere-else zombie again.
I figure if the Spurs can't respond with a W tonight, then they're playoff prospects are very dim.
no Tony.
and your last sentence is ludicrous. The Spurs had three game road losing streaks without tim in each of 05 and 07. We won the championship both years.
Dice & Tiago will be huge this game. Even with Gasol not playing as well as he did last year, their front line is rugged and can really rebound. Dice & Tiago have to stay out of foul trouble and rebound.
Tony Allen usually gives teams like us trouble, so we have to watch him. TP and Manu really need to have huge games, but Hill/Neal/... need to chip in.
Leon Powe has been a force lately as well
I wont be so sad if the spurs lose this game. I want the hornets to drop to the 8th spot.
Which means nothing if the Spurs cannot mantain the #1 seed ... they have to find a way to win at least 5 of the last 10 games. A win in Memphis would be nice ... they play very physical, lets see if Tiago is up to the task ... I'm afraid he could end up in early foul trouble when defending Z-Bo
Still bitter about that last game, but hoping that if nothing else, it serves as a wakeup call to this team. Their record, and their seed, and their talent won't mean anything if they can't execute and make the right plays in crunch time.
This team has been getting sloppy for a few weeks now and apparently no amount of halftime speeches from Pop were fixing that. Maybe the blatant slap in the face that was that loss will.
is it actually a a good thing if we lose today? Griz move up and helps us avoid them in the 1st. i'd rather take the Hornets.
No it's not a good thing... the number one seed is not a lock anymore. Another loss is going to put way too much pressure on us to win almost all of the remaining games and put the Spurs confidence even lower. I doubt the Lakers lose more than 1, and the Bulls 1 maybe 2. We're in a very precarious situation that we didn't need to be in with those last two losses.
calm down bro. were not losing the 1 seed. win or lose tonight
That being said, I hope we play like we mean it...and close it this time!

The bench is going to have to play a good game if we want to win. Allen will make it difficult on Manu who is probably already a little tired from this 3 game road trip. Splitter will need to play more minutes with that Gasol/Randolph lineup they have down low.
Just gonna have to close out...
Damn, Im worried bout this game!!
I expect the Spurs to get back on the winning track![]()
Gotta stop the bleeding
Lets go Spurs
