As I've said, he's my favorite athlete, it's a Spurs forum. I registered when I had much more interest, haven't bothered to change it really, it's iconic since it's been that for years.
Maybe I'm exaggerating, I don't think the league sucks, I just don't like how long and unimportant the regular season is. Think about it, the regular season spans from october/november - mid april, and none of that matters, really. The good teams that are contenders obviously don't need to worry, they know they'll make the playoffs. Any given game isn't important when there's 80- ing 2 of them and all of the teams have to manage their stars' minutes hardcore. Length of the season just makes every player that much more injury prone, not only more games allowing for injury, but also due to wear and tear.
It even usually takes 20-28 ish games just to win a championship in the playoffs (after those 80 ing2).
Well, they're back on w/ their perimeter shooting.
I guess that'll getchoo through in a single-game elimination tourney, but prolly not as effective in best 4/7.
In reality the WCF is Lakers vs. whatever non-contender happened to win 2 playoff series against other non-contenders. That's the thing I can't stand most about the NBA, there are 4 contenders and 26 irrelevant teams.

Pretty much. I won't stop completely, I'll probably watch a game every now and then, and maybe I'll tune in to the finals series if it's a good and compe ive one.

I don't "hate" the NBA...reread my posts and there you have my criticisms, my case. I acknowledge why it is the way it is, there are commercial limitations, and so I put up with it.
What you're missing is I don't just post in an NBA forum. I post in a Spurs, NBA, other sports, and Club forum (where all types of topics pop up, and inform me of a lot of news I wouldn't hear of otherwise). And a very well managed and designed one at that, one that draws tons of fans from other teams due to these reasons. Even a good amount of people that post regularly, without having much interest in basketball.
It's quite different than what you're making it out to be.
