I hope he's not being rushed back ahead of his injury rehab schedule out of the Spurs' sense of desperation to lock up the 1# seed.

I'd rather see us finish 2# in seeding, than have Tim risk further and unnecessary damage to his ankle because of coming back too soon.

Mehh...I was at the game last night. Timmy is just fine. He was happy and smiling which tells me he is recovering great. Plus, Pop wouldn't risk injury if they knew Duncan was not ready to play.

Manu was the only one of the four still somewhat looking stiff and very serious. I will really be surprised if he plays many minutes come Thursday.

I mean we're talking about conservative Pop here.

Duncan will play, and the Spurs will win, handedly.

Losing four games in a row + pride of this team = blowout

pop would not let him play if he wasn't ready to play, look for the team to be in full force and well practiced against Boston on Thurs.
I expect them to put a whooping on Garnett and the gang.
I want to see DeJuan Bear on Baby Shack Davis in this game.
I think that's an intriguing matchup

NBA.com reports that Duncan (sprained ankle) and Ginobili (quadriceps contusion that had him hobbling out of the arena after Sunday's game) will be out again on Thursday when the Spurs take on the Boston Celtics, and at least the remainder of the week. The site reports that Parker (left patella contusion) could also miss Thursday's game.
Pulling Parker, Duncan and Ginobili out of the lineup takes 48.6 points per game out of the team's usual lineup.

Nothing has been 'officially' announced yet. They practice tomorrow, we should hear something.

This better not be true. Otherwise it's 5 in a row... and not even close.

How have we gone from reports that if it was a playoff game they would have played to everyone is out again

Do the Spurs want HC or not?

That was posted before the Blazers game. We won't know about Thursday until we hear something from Pop/the team. They didn't practice today, we should hear something tomorrow.

The big 3 are returning! Oh wait, NBA.com is reporting that Duncan and Parker are definitely out and Parker could miss the game as well. Might as well sit RJ, Blair, Bonner, maybe Neal...

It's a back to back with Houston. Everyone can't sit out both games

    Can't happen..
