Can someone please translate this...like they do when Manu does a Spanish interview?
You know what?
I've been a spurs fan for quite a bit now and the impact that this team put on my life is unmeasured.
This season was going just fine as the spurs started to play a bit of a different ball and there were winning. The minutes were managed greatly and spurs leading the league by a big margin was fantastic. They were healthy and all players rise to the occasion. Blair RJ Neal - our bench looked solid.
The problem was not having Tiago in the rotation and I was looking for him to get into it.
Man Bonner was hitting everything. We were winning with the best in the NBA and that win over LA by a Dyess tip? Amazing
The D was not so great and now as you look at the spurs losing 4 straight you go back and think about this big loss to the Laker team.
On that game our pick and roll ofens evaporated, Bonner was hesitant and that lead to the horrible outing.
After that Pop drop something down his pants and benched Blair what caused that Blair was unhappy and his game now looks worse! Antonio as a started does not look that fantastic as well. So Jax messed in Pops head again. So fine record right now does not look as fine. Some ppl might say Pop want to have a seed control, but I do not buy it even though it's possible.
Now with our main guys not playing at all because of the injuries I don't know if we can find a rhythm going into the playoffs. Maybe pop do not need it and maybe he rather have everybody as much close to 100% as possible. The main piece of a championship squad is health.
But the game itself dropped and Bonner still after this LA game is hesitant and is shooting the worst %. A Bonner effect? a Hedo effect? But maybe a spurs effect?
Now when Tiago plays good ball and Blair playing worse and worse it might spoil the chemistry.
Something blasted my head when I was watching spurs championship DVD 1999 and 2003. We had a vocal leader - a tough guy. Someone who was yelling MAN UP! It's a heavyweight battle and you must fight with a fury. Elie, Willis, a confidence of Kerr. We need someone of the bench that can push the guys over that mental hump.
Can the spurs pick it up?
With so much problems on D in rotation in height in LA.
I would love the spurs to finish the season with the :lobt
but considering what a mess that LA game did I don't know if the spurs are strong enough to overcome it in the playoffs.

The thread is not for you or anyone else.
It's for me and I will start from the Boston game.
If someone what to risk and read it I'm not taking any responsibilities for that person
Wrong. It all started when Duncan went down with an injury. If TD didn't get injured, we wouldn't be dealing with a four-game losing streak.
I guess we have to give away a couple of games here and there just so POP realizes what Tiago can do on the floor.
People around here need to stop bowing down to LA. The coach, The players and the fans.
TP needs to get some darn confidence in his jump shot and stop acting like we're not any good. As long as we got all our players we can beat anyone. TP should have a lot more confidence in his game and team than that. MAN up TP.
Pop needs to stop being a wit and incorporate Tiago into the rotation. I'm not saying bench Blair and/or Bonner completely, but bump each one down a spot in the rotation and give Tiago a legit chance for the rest of the regular season to show he can do it.
Do they have Prozac in Poland?
True. It does make ya's look weak & puny when ya's do it.
Is is prohibited in France?
You want me to send you some?
IMO the Spurs began to slide just before the ASB. They really haven't played consistently good ball on either end of the court since then.
50/50...Spurs win or Lose...like the McDyess tip-in game. While your feelings and comments are valid, I imagine threads like this will largely go away if the Spurs start winning again (which I put at 50-50).
In that game Dice hardly played and hardly played at all (? after he got the game winner the last time??), Manu sucked, Parker did not play well, and Splitter did not play much early at all and Duncan did not score and played terrible, and Pop through in the towel early. Spurs bricked threes all night and missed open shots; but the Spurs scrubs outplayed LAL as is expected as LAL has little or no depth in either the FC or the BC. LAL right now playing better but the teams now match up well and all is not lost. Spurs also beat LAL by double digits this year and again in a close game that for all the naysayers LAL tried hard in that one.
It was a payback game from LAL - who are a great team and the defending champs for a reason; but lets not lose perspective.
Prozac is OK in France, prohibited is RedBull
The Spurs lose close games, to playoff teams on the road, without Tim Duncan and we get threads like this.
Red Bull is now allowed in France.
U drag up yourselves there I'm tellin ya
This thread will not go away. I'm gonna bump it after every spurs game from now on untill the end of the season.
Hopefully I will be able to watch most of them.
It' funny right now because the spurs do not have set their rotation yet. Pop always wanted to have it just after the ASB. Now with all cir stances ...
But it might work in spurs favor as the rest of the teams will not be able to adjust as fast as they would if spurs played their rotation all the time. It depends how the spurs/pop can manage this.
All year long bench guys fit well in the system.
I'm still worried about Blair though. He should be the punch of the bench and it seems like he playes his best with Timmy on the court ...
okay, who hacked polandprzem's account?

Trying to read this thread makes my head hurt.
All of this.
Threads like this would have you believe that the Spurs are getting beaten by an average of 20 points during this losing streak. , our deep bench players held Portland's starters to nine points in the third quarter Monday, and even built an 8 point lead in the 4th quarter. Perhaps if Pop had given them all more opportunities for larger minutes earlier in the season, maybe they don't run out of gas and hold on for the win.
To compare, Boston has been losing to teams like Charlotte and Indiana WITH their Big 3 playing. They also have virtually zero big man depth now after all of those ridiculous trades Ainge made and because the well past their primes O'Neals can't stay healthy.
What this 4 game losing streak has shown is how critical Duncan still is to the Spurs' success. Had he played, I think we'd have gone 2-1 on the road trip and won Monday.
All in all, I think we'll be OK, and I predict we'll do just enough to hold off LA and keep that #1 seed!

lol the confidence of Kerr
woulda coulda
U guys are too sensitive. I just made few points that connects spurs to winning or losing games.
So what my posts are a havoc?
Screw you all. This year on this board was about 7 good threads and not much more good posts.
'Splitter sucks' and sequ threads are probably with more knowledge and more sense. So they are to you disposal all year long and once again you do not need to read my posts. That's frickin simple.
Everyone (Pop, TD, TP) on the Spurs except Manu seems afraid of LA. TP does tell it like it is in his interviews.
IMO, Splitter should have been integrated into the rotation. Ideally in the playoffs: Duncan 34 mins, Splitter 34 mins, Dice 20-25 mins, Blair - the rest of the mins (w/TD). Sorry, I know that Bonner "spreads" the floor, but Blair has more heart in his little finger than Bonner's whole body. Gimme heart any day in the playoffs. Let RJ, Neal, Hill, Manu and Novak shoot all the 3 pters Pop wants and maintain interior defense with TD/Splitter/Dice.
Your entire take was spot on, friend. I'm absolutely hoping that the Spurs, with or without Duncan, can secure a big win tonight at home against Boston, then take care of Houston on the road. I think that that would propel this team to a confidence-building winning streak. And being on a confidence-building winning streak coupled with the revenge factor may enable the Spurs to win in Los Angeles. I just think that tonight is very important.
This.
Why in the can't Pop see this also?
