Looks like Tony's just about to get the back-hand-pimp-slap
Hopefully Hill keeps up his stellar play.
You won't be able to wise guy your way past these Celtics tonite.
& you can't beatin' 'em fair & square.
Ipso facto:::you're gonna lose & then you'll be dealt with by your's truly.
Spurs will win and I suspect you'll be mysteriously absent from trolling these boards for a while. Though I don't think the victory will actually motivate you to get a life, it will only force you to go underground until you realize that trolling is the most exciting aspect of your day.
Dex, with the spelling indictment:::penultimate bastion of the thoroughly vanquished.
Cubby, you are using big words here. This is the Spurs forum, know your audience and keep the lexicon simple for them.
because the NBA forum is chock-full of nobel laureates.
There's some brilliance amidst the madness down there.![]()
Guiseppe, you've been exposed.
No Lakers, in their right mind would ever cheer for the Celtics to win against any team.
You bandwagoner .
Damn...not sure whether to watch Spurs Celts or Giants on opening day. I think I'll watch both.
Dont worry, you'll have time to see more then half of the Giants/Dodgers game and the complete Spurs game. lol
Baseball games go for 3,4 hours, at the least.
Lakers fans rooting for the Celtics is magnificent. That's the most hopeful thing I've heard all day. Hope we can find a way to win without Manu and TD.....

I'm always fascinated when morons say something like "you aren't a real fan if you want your rival to win blah blah blah.![]()

"
The Lakers have a 2-game lead on Boston, and that's not likely to change given their schedules down the stretch. A Boston win (and a Laker win today) puts the Lakers 2 (or 2.5, whatever) games behind the Spurs with 7-8 still to play. One of those losses can be made up when LAL beats SAS on the 12th. That means the Spurs have to win out if they lose today, or hope LA drops a game along the way.
Tonight won't be the last time I root for the C's this year either. I'll be pulling for them in the first 3 rounds of the playoffs, cause there is no team I enjoy watching the Lakers beat more than the Boston Celtics.
I just wanted to make sure you knew how use the word "yours", so that you aren't misusing it for the rest of your days.
Excuse the out of me for trying to educate.![]()
The spelling indictment.![]()
I'm first and foremost a Spurs fan. That being said, today is probably NOT the best day to get on Laker fans for rooting for the C's, since we absolutely need our in-state rival in the Mavs to win today.
Going to this game tonight unexpectedly (thank you busy season ticket holding aunt), hopefully the Spurs pull this one out!
best case scenario: spurs smash the c's and dallas mans the up for 1 game.
