Too soon. Gotta wait for the playoffs.
Worst choke job of all time is up for grabs this season.
06' Mavs or 11' Spurs, discuss.
Spurs have looked like trash since Duncan's injury, but we haven't lost to Golden State or a similarly irrelevant team in the playoffs yet, so my vote stands...
Mavs didn't lose a key player down the stretch so is not comparable.
But still, this is one to go down the history books.
lol @ thinking grandpa duncan is a key player
lol I love knee jerk fans
bro how many points he got tonight?
check ur facts before talking about the greatest PF of all time
there was no real challenger in the west that year. mavs just got some luck to make the finals that year and won the first two in that series, and started being pussies (what they innately are) the following games. they could have wrapped it up but luck turned against them after two games. the 06' champ was the worst NBA champ of all time anyway
Really? Really really?
Awwwwww.
The 67 win team that shall-not-be-named losing in the 1st round was worse.
2004 Yankees
Re ed ing thread. Spurs are sucking fat hairy donkey balls right now, but lets reserve judgement on this topic until they choke away a 2-0 lead in the Finals rather than lose some regular season games.
lol meltdown
06 Mavs and 07 Mavs
People don't expect the 11 Spurs to win the le anyway
3 stars on one team shouldn't be expected to win?
Duncan is to this team what David was to the 03 team. He might not be the key player he once was but you can bet your ass his place in the line up matters. Just like Bowen's place in the line up mattered.
Only 2 TBH. Tim is no longer the star player he once was.
& Manu is too f'in' busy trying to cheat the system to be of service to his sovereign.
Though Pop ain't no better.
Not sure the Spurs would be a choke job. Objective fan knows they are undersized and a jump shooting team. PHX proved fast paced jump shooting teams can have inflated records. An inflated record is nothing special anymore.
It is yet to be determined.
We'll see in the playoffs what happens.
Ain't over. The Spurs have to lose one more + our game. Boston has to beat Chicago in their last regular season matchup.
We'd have to comply by winning 16 in-a-row, + the first two in the playoffs to tally 18 in-a-row before we could even blink again. That's uncharted & reckless water.
But, we have no other choice as long as the Spurs are doing their part.
Premature ejaculation thread. These two don't even compare yet.
