Pop in the fourth quarter interview complaining about three attempts when he had Manu, Neal, Hill and Bonner on the floor at the same time. The only thing missing was Novak.
29 threes? Big Baby guarding Tim? No Perkins? No Oneal? No legitimate NBA center? And we take 29 threes?
This team won't win a championship if it doesn't learn better defense and learn to take and make more shots in the paint.

When a series will begin against Boston, we will think a logical strategy against them. Till that, no problem.
Why don't they have either TD/Splitter (whoever KG is not guarding) back down Davis and shoot over the top of him?
Simple answer: Because TD and Splitter never play together. I'd wager there aren't two players on the Spurs who have had fewer minutes together than those two.
I think allowing wide open jumpers for the better part of the 2nd half was the issue..
Agreed that the Spurs are in big trouble jacking lots of threes, especially if the Spurs don't get back in transition D.
Problems this season:
1. Too many three point attempts
2. Weak rebounding
3. Poor defense
Hmmmm, how could Pop kill three birds with one stone?
Pop is either:
- overrated
- or going CIA Pop hardcore hardcore
There is no other way
The whole NBA knows this except for Mike D'Antoni. I don't know why Spurs players keep jacking up threes, it's downright embarrassing.
That makes too much sense. Especially because TD was destroying Davis in the post.
Word 2 Big Bird.
But, but, but Rondo can't shoot![]()
Them making those wide open jumpers and lay-ups at will was indeed an issue. We better watch some film and get our act together tonight.
