I was at the game in the club seats and hot damn were there many, many Celtics fans in the house. Embarrassingly many. It was almost a borderline neutral court, at least down low. Behind me was this huge woman with an all too familiar East Texas accent just screeching for Boston. C'mooooown Kay Jay! C'mooon Rwayyyy!!! Give me a freaking break, it was beyond comical!

But, end of the day, scoreboard. Horrible Spurs defense, Neal and Bonner incapable of defending, dead play all around. And on and on. Etc. Etc.

Pathetic, it happens even more so with the Lakers coming to play in our house.

What the is up with Texas fans cheering for other teams?

At first glance I thought it was a home game for the C's.

I was at the game as well and there were definitely huge amount of Celtic fans. It was pretty pitiful walking out of the ATT Center hearing about 50 people chanting for the C's.

The crowd was absolutely dead today, but you can't blame them after having to watch Bonner and Blair man the paint.

    Didn't really notice it.

Even when we were down 10 throughout most of the 2nd half, the crowd was still cheering on, can't fault them.

Exactly, then our supposedly genius coach inserts Splitter for a few token 4th quarter minutes. Bottom line is we got Rondo'ed and KG'ed in the 4th and our clutch factor must've been used up against Minnesota and Denver earlier this season. Wow. This is one slumped out, dry basketball team right now.

Back in the 80s the Spurs didn't have a championship pedigree and Bird was playing. I've been to probably 100 Spurs games since 1989 and rarely if ever have I seen so many opponent fans in a Spurs venue and, yes, that includes Boston, fella.

A lot of season ticket holders sell there tickets specifically against LA and BOS for a hefty profit. LA and BOS fans pay good money to go to the game and tickets in the lower level get marked up significantly for this game which helps the season ticket holders get some money back. I had 2 tickets to the game tonight which are around $85.00 face value going for $300 a ticket tonight, I can only imagine how much those fans are paying for charter level seats.

I wasn't at the game last night so I don't know how infested it was, but...

I had 1/2 season tickets from 1993 - 2008 and during that time there were always a ton of lakers, dallas, houston, chicago (during jordan years) and yes boston (even in the bad years) fans for those games, especially in the playoffs for the western conference teams

I don't know what your point was but mine was it doesn't surprise me that the opposing fans like to infest our arean (or dome).
