Pop needs to get fired if the Spurs don't win and for playing Bonner more than 1 min.
Damn that Brian Colangelo.

Agreed...when he signed this off-season, I knew Splitter's development would never come into fruition.
For a while I watched every Celtics player run a train on him, from Garnett to Green, they all had their shot.
He needs more minutes.
Not a "serious" injury, but serious enough to keep him out the rest of the year.
TRUE! That would be good! GOOD VERY GOOD! If any idiot backs bonner now they get the hahahahhahhaahhahhahahhahahahahhahahhahaha he is high in %, hahahhaahhahahahahhahahahahhhahaahah, he is trash. I am not debating over this piece of anymore, he is not a man to me.
At the begining of the year he was actually somewhat useful on both ends of the court, but mainly after the ASB he has really stunk it up.
I miss the 4-down play on nearly every possesion.![]()
Seems like he did the same thing last year. He killed in Boston, but disappeared after the break, if I recall. I know he was injured for awhile, but he really went away. That would be nice if he did that again.
Bonner like RJ are both totally worthless to this Spurs team. But, Pop likes the way they both French Kiss him so we have to live with it.![]()
I held out hope for him this year, alas.![]()
WHY DID YO DO THAT? WHY DID YOU? WHY? What would be different This year than years past? He is what he is.
Because I like to think positive.
So sue me.
If used properly Bonner can be a solid asset but Pop isn't using him the right way. He needs to be just a role player, nothing more, nothing less.
richard jefferson has become a stand still three point shooter
when he drives to the basket, he drives to pass the ball and the opposing teams knows it
when's the last time that parker -RJ oop connected?
Bonner is not worthy of being an "in the rotation" role player. He is, at best, an infrequent shooting specialist who should rack up DNP-CDs.
The fact that people still don't get this after it being correctly predicted years in advance is mindboggling.
But I guess the tide is turning. I've seen people who were quite pleased with Bonner's 4 year deal and how good it was to have him here for 4 years with his knowledge of 'the system' who are now acting like they don't want him being a big part of the rotation while Splitter is buried.
Well that won't happen as long as he is here, he will be a huge part of our game and continue to fail us to accept it he is what he is.They were idiots then, we all saw this, but happy go lucky idiots denied it I guess!!!!!!!
The same people who loved Bonner and supported him getting yet another contract were, perhaps not so surprisingly, the same people who loved Jefferson and wanted him back.
Whereas the people with a clue could plainly see that these guys (especially Bonner) made it harder for the Spurs to win, not easier.
