All winnable games. I'm with you!
Spurs get the 1 seed by 2 games. Book it.
great another jinxed thread![]()
Perhaps 6-1...you're right.
Pretty easy schedule...only guaranteed loss is against the lakers...pop will probably rest players that game. Spurs lose 2 but still win #1 seed. Doesn't matter Lakers aren't being beat

I say we go 6-1 and get things back on track.
i'd settle for 1-0 after tomorrow.
Meh, if this is the rotation, I think I'd rather they keep losing.
I agree with this thread, the Spurs will finish on a 7 game winning streak, and go into the playoffs hot and confident and win out.
GO SPURS GO
Amen.
That said, I think more like 5-2 and still get the #1 seed.
Spurs win the next 5, clinch the #1 seed, and then lose the last two.
I agree. This thing will turn. On the championship DVD it'll be interesting to see how they summarize this slump.
2 things we need:
1. Win next 5 games.
I'm not saying that's what's gonna happen, but I do believe that's what has to happen to give us the best shot entering the playoffs. Settles homecourt issue before the Laker game. Allows vets to be benched for the last two and heal up. Makes Lakers, Suns, and travel irrelevant for the homecourt outcome. Gotta win the next 5 in a row starting tonight.
2. Need Lakers to lose 1 of their next 6 for that to work.
If those two things happen, homecourt is a done deal before the Laker game, and all of this was a bump in the road.
If we go into the laker game having won the last five then I'd say we have a chance to win in LA, albeit an outside chance. If we don't win the preceding five, I'd say our chances of beating LA are slim to none. If it ends up that the LA game decides HCA, we will lose it
How about slow-motion shots of Manu, Duncan and TP turning their heads in frustration as balls slip away from them out of bounds.
And then a deep slow voice over (with that authoritative hint of a patrician accent) saying, "But the Spurs were not done yet."
