    IDNX/Promina is used for long-range stuff mostly. It allows you to interchange various cards as needed (QASD cards, timing, Voice Echo Cancellers, etc etc).

    Like I said, not sure if this is the same system, but the different slots with various cards leads me to believe it might be something similar.

    Testicle sergeant hm? I dunno about it being the hardest, I know of a LOT of re s who were a tech for years and year and never made the hump to MSgt. You'd think with that much time in service and grade, all they'd have to do was sign their name and they'd get it. Anyways, congrats and have fun with the bruises.
