    If you do want a legit copy of win 7 go to ultimatesteal.com if you have access to a .edu email address. Win7 pro upgrad for $65 and if you want everything but visio and project, you can get office 2010 for $80.

    (yes I am assuming you have your original system disk to install whatever version of windows you computer came with in order to use the win7 upgrade.

    A friend of mine who is a student at UIW went to the business office and got a copy of Office 2010 (2 licenses) for $10 plus tax.

    That may have been the student edition. (Word,excel,PowerPoint) . Or he could have gotten a great deal.

    At my school if you're an IT student you get enrolled into the MSDN and you get free microsoft software. Including all versions of windows.

    I take care of this all ing day long at work. I cover over 300 computers on a daily basis when it comes to viruses. My boss thinks Im a savant and when it comes to viruses.

    Even if you dont live in S.A., PM me and I can walk you through enough to be able to get it accessible and maybe remote desktop to you to figure out the root of the problem.
