Doesn't this just mean that the Spurs are the team that everybody expected, coming into the season?..yes, they teased us for 75% of the season, but now, we can resume where we left off from last season..

    What's the big deal?..

The truth hurts. Choking bunch of no urgency, no defense playing, 3 point chucking gots. They suckered me into thinking they were ballers.

They make me sick. U lose a must win game to a team that isnt going to make the playoffs ? Totally unacceptable bull .

DONE, period over and done. This team has no heart at all anymore, they will drop a few more games and LA has that #1 seed and they know it. Spurs blew it all, in the blink of an eye.

TD does not deserve this crap. He needs to slap Pop and Bonner in the face. WTF? He is showing the heart of champion. No one else.

This Spurs team is by far the lowest basketball IQ team in the NBA. The 4th qtr. they place their empty heads deep, deep, deep into their asshole socket where the sun ain't never going to shine. We are slow, unathletic as , can't play a lick of defense...especially in the paint and Pop is doing the iiiiiiiiiest coaching job he has EVER done. What is even more disturbing is how the guys and coaches have accepted this losing streak as though it is part of some kind of 's Angels initiation process. When Pop switced Dice for Blair you could see from everyone on the team 'a deer in the headlights look' during the games that translated into some major league meltdowns, especially late in games where experience should take over. A real shame but, there ain't any way in this team even gets close to a championship this season. Timmy should retire at the end of this season while he still has some dignity left. Go out with head held high like David did and not like Shaq. Every big in the league has put up their best numbers against Tim this season. Yes he has a little gas left but, go out with pride.

Time to turn RC and company loose on trades and dump Bonner, RJ, Dice, Tiago, Anderson along with the rest of the end of our bench for the best deal they can get and start the 5 year rebuilding process. If you have to throw-in Tony and/or Manu go for it. Manu has nothing left and is making silly ass mistakes like a New Yoyr city pastry chef making doughnuts.

I'll pay for a one way trip for Bonner and Pop to the North Pole where they can kiss eachother's rosey red collective asses till both are blue in the face.

Its only a matter of time before the "Will he or won't he" threads start regarding Tim's retirement. Got damn, all I have to look forward to in sports is baseball ? Pass.

Parker jinxed the Spurs when he said that the Spurs could win without Duncan for the rest of the season but that they needed Duncan for the playoffs. They have been playing like bums since then, with or without Duncan.
Pop's use of Bonner is inexcusable. He is slow as molasses, plays defense like a sieve, and is the personification of anti-clutch.
Too bad the Spurs did not make the necessary effort to get another legitimate big man during the trading period or shortly after the trading deadline. Tim and Dice are their only NBA-ready big men. Splitter--too slow, too passsive, too green, too ill-used by the coach; Bonner--useless; Blair---too short, too excitable, a turnover machine; Novak--too skinny.
Even though I was convinced that this was their season, this is the biggest collapse I have ever seen from the leaders of the pack.
I fear that the Lakers not only will beat them if the Spurs make it to the Western Conference finals---they will humiliate them if they keep up this kind of end-game crap.

Seriously... HOW did we win as many games as we did? I don't understand what is happening. When is the nightmare going to end?

I keep asking myself that same question, thought it has ended tonight when they were up three and had the ball and then the TO of all TO's like Portland game all over again . This team doesn't just lose they rip your heart out when they do. This is humiliating.

Why in the is Bonner out there as well when he is making nothing at all? He is out there though the whole 4th and OT, doing nothing! Nothing at all. Pop is an idiot.

Sorry for the rant but I am suffering from the "This Can't Be Happening Syndrome."
Would you agree that for the Spurs to get past the lakers, they must have home court advantage? If we assume that the Lakers will not lose another game this regular season, the Spurs have one less loss than the lakers right now. If the Spurs run out the table, they have to beat Phoenix, Atlanta, Sacramento, Utah, Los Angeles lakers, and Phoenix. If the Spurs beat everyone but the Lakers, then the Lakers would have to lose to Denver, or Utah, or Portland, or Oklahoma City for the Spurs to retain home court advantage. One tall order.

IF Spurs are good enough to win the le it should not matter who or where they play. Why be afraid of the best if they think they are the best?

Because if their minds are weak, they need all the advantages they can get.
