The next time anything posted here makes the Spurs better will be the first time.
I can't believe these Spurs. It's night and day from the beginning of the season. They never would've given games like this or the in Portlandone away.
The next time anything posted here makes the Spurs better will be the first time.
I wouldnt even count out the 3rd seed.
Bonner is +2 and Parker is -1!!!!
I guess Bonner was more usefull to the team...
What a stupid stat...
and many good teams they faced missed a key player at that time ...
Lakers 16 - 1 since the all star break, playing like the champions they are. They'll come back against Utah.
Fair enough, but why is it so important if Manu gets a storm like Tony does?
Well, nevermind, I see your point, actually. Tony is criminally underrated by most people here.
Using a little more the most efficient player of the team could help.
To add to his point, you probably noticed during the game thread some posters jumping on Tony each time he made a bad play...![]()
I don't think he was saying Manu should receive the same " storm", he was just giving props to TP in a weird way...![]()
Only down by 6 now... .
so are the spurs going to win a game atleast.....when are the spurs going to get there next win
mmmmm at this point it doesn't matter....the way the spurs are playing spurs are getting the number 2 seed
Six months of hard work to get the best record in the league and HCA throughout the playoffs is slipping away in a matter of two weeks. If the Spurs blow the #1 seed they won't win the le and the organization has no one to blame but themselves.
RJ/Ginobili/Blair/Bonner continue to play like . This is the wrong time of year to be slumping.
And Gregg Popovich might be the only coach I've ever witnessed who thinks he can get away with not using his best personnel.
My brother. Whether the Spurs get the 1st seed or not. It's over. You forgot to mention Neal and Hill in that list of suckers. Our bench is folding. Our team is folding. Accept it now. Settle in for the lock-out.
It doesn't even matter at this point.
Things are bad because of the nature of the losses and now literally having no gap between the Spurs and LA, but the Spurs are not as bad as they look. They are not playing terrible, but they are regressing on defense and being severely punished for all of their missteps which isn't always the case.
However, they are bringing a lot of that on themselves. If Manu can get some extra juice, this team will still make the WCF imo.
Bonner is utterly useless when he isn't hitting shots, and now he doesn't even have confidence in his shot, so why does Pop let him finish games?
I see when he shoots that he's just flinging it up hoping it would brace the rim for 3 seconds.
You plus the million other Spurs fans are wondering the same thing. Bonner would make even Steve Blake look good.
Because Pop is waiting for Bonner to shoot his way out of his slump. It's that simple.
Pop is like that guy at the poker table who hit one big hand, and is just out of his luck since. He'll keep buying in, paying the blinds and losing his chips, just waiting for another house or flush to strike.
Sure, it's great when that hand flops. But you are never gonna run the table that way.
The 48MOH article should be hilarious after det one...
You take that chance on people who could do other things like defend and initiate the offense well. Bonner, at this point, is a turnstile and let's not just talk about his playmaking skills.
I don't mean to be ruthless with him but when you're trying to fend off LA, you go with the best combinations.
Ok, that's still funny. Stick it to 'em, George.
