I agree, but fans in general are stupid. I was just saying that you have to expect some stupidity when you lose like the Spurs have recently.

I like them when they lose, win or lose they are my team and it's okay to be upset, but saying " the spurs" or all of a sudden going for another team is ridiculous. When or lose I'm a spurs fan, if they lose the remainder of the games I will still love the Spurs.

tbh, I'm watching the highlights now, and Hill really ed up going under the screen on KMart's 3 that gave them to go ahead in OT... not justifying anything, but it's like
The game never reaches overtime if Manu doesn't make that lackadaisical pass with one minute left in regulation. And Hill made some exceptional defensive plays during the last minutes of the fourth quarter, when we got back into (and took control) of the game. See my other thread about that Manu pass... I rewatched that play at least 5x tonight. And I agree he played good D out there, but small mistakes like that cost you tight games. Look at the replay on that 3, and look at Manu. He's infuriated because he sees Hill going under. He was obviously told not to do that.
Its a shock to the system to see such a veteran laden team make such boneheaded plays. Its like watching the Clippers playing in the silver & black.
Hill has been around long enough to know that if you are a public figure and you choose to be on Twitter, or anything similar, then you have to be able to take the comments. Questioning whether people are real fans is something fans get to do to each other, but not something in which a player should become involved.

Stop whining about fans and start playing basketball.
I have no problem with Hill. He has had an up and down season, but that is to be expected. I still trust him to step up when needed. He has proven he is a gamer in the playoffs.
I also like how he interacts with fans, and with that you will get the occasional smack. I don't think anything he said was out of bounds although, you have to have thicker skin sometimes.
