I know you don't but why bring Tony in this ed up play?

Hill is the only to blame on that play (rvrn if manu's pass wasn't ok)
How about if Tony had gotten his ass across mid-court in time, so Hill would have had someone to pass to? The play was Manu's fault, period. Trying to lay that play off on Hill is ridiculous. Some of you international fans are so ing protective of Tony and Manu that you're willing to turn black into white.

One more thing... the only reason Manu was able to tip that rebound away from Scola (right before throwing the bad pass) was because Hill was fighting Scola down low. Hill worked his ass off on that whole play, and you assholes want to blame him for what happened? off.

For a veteran team they are making a lot of stupid mistakes in the closing minutes--things like Manu stepping out of bounds, getting their pockets picked for turnovers, bad passes.

This never used to happen. I don't think there is any single reason or answer for it and the sloppy play and lack of focus seems to be infecting more than one player.

It was a drawn play and, from Tony's point on the court, he had to wait until Manu came over that screen. And yeah, he looked like he had given up, at that point. Tony gives it 110% every game.

If i had airballed two and missed another wide-open three , i would be angry too. Tony's look was of a defeated guy. At that point of the game when it was over why even bother with another shot.

Biggest issue Pop faces is why this spurs team keeps finding itself in these positions in the first place.

They couldn't get stops against a team who's biggest inside presense was Scola and Patterson while allowing their guards to score at will.

I have been wondering if on the last timeout Pop is drawing up plays and when the ball touches Manu's hands that's when the play gets tossed? Or does Pop say throw the ball to Manu and que sera sera? As I have said before, it doesn't matter what the boys' numbers are, if he doesn't get the job done the last time he touches the ball in the 4th quarter, then he ain't but dog !!
