I love how the Spurs being great a 3s is seen as a bad thing by the media, but the Lakers frontcourt is the reason they're unbeatable, nevermind the Spurs have the best bigman of all of them, a better backcourt, a better bench, are 2-1 against the Lakers, and a better offense.

Why is being taller at one positions the ultimate victory clencher, but being better at nearly every aspect of the game isn't considered an advantage.

Okay so the Lakers are only 1 game back in the loss column, but 2 games behind and they're only a half game back from the Bulls for the best record in the NBA. You realize that's impossible.

    Let the media twisting continue.

problem is these 3 bigmen of the Lakers are not only tall (of course), but maybe under the Top 5 talent wise ... when they are closing the paint the Spurs have little chance

Because one team hails from San Antonio and the other from Los Angeles. Every time the Lakers are on top, they're made out to be unbeatable and every time the Spurs are on top, they're made out to be vulnerable. They could win 20 in a row by 15 a game and they'd still be talking doom and gloom.

I love how, in the twin towers days, nobody acted as if going into and throughout every season, the Spurs were unbeatable because of their size. But the instant the Lakers had the best front line in the game, they were made out to be unbeatable. And not only that, but it needs to be mentioned about 500 times a game how big and long they are, just in case we all don't know by now, because apparently we're all blind and deaf.

Lakers frontline is likely to extend Kobe's career. A 4-peat or even 5-peat is a very real possibility.

Point is why, is a slight advantage in one aspect of the game considered something that makes the Lakers unbeatable? Couldn't anyone just as easily say, Fisher guarding Parker and Hill is a huge advantage for the Spurs? Or Hill and Neal vs Blake and Brown another advantage for the Spurs.

The Spurs have advantages as well, who's the one that determines that one advantage makes the Lakers impossible to beat when it's a miinor advantage as the NBA is a backcourt league.

Fisher cannot guard Parker, but Parker will not get anything against the bigs of the Lakers in the playoffs when trying to finish at the rim ... and Artest can lock down Manu Ginobili. Defense, rebounding and post play wins championships ... advantage Lakers

and its more a "Kobe League" than a backcourt league ... Tony Parker gets not respect in that regard

    Did they seriously say that???

No wonder I enjoy watching the games more in a bar where I can't hear the audio.

Last time I checked big guys don't bother Parker in the paint too much. Who's to say Parker won't negate Pau and Bynum by getting them in foul trouble or dropping off to Duncan after he blows by Fisher?

you did watch the last game between Spurs and Lakers ... this was a little exagerated, but a show of things to come if these teams meet in the playoffs ... especially if Pop refuses to play Splitter

I also watched the first 2 games. One game where the Spurs played poorly doesn't mean much to me.

A lot of good Bynum and Gasol did preventing Dice from winning the game.

Win or lose, Denver has played really, really well since the trade. They have a lot of weapons and work hard on both ends. I'm not sure I trust them in the playoffs when everything is real, but right now they are solid.
