George Hill continues to talk about "fake fans," this time to reporter

George is right .. some of you are really bad fans. A true fan will stick with their team no matter how bad or good they are doing. I knew the Spurs were going to go through some kind of skid during the season (they always do) but it always makes them a whole lot better!

Point 1: Hill's tweets are not up to the Spurs' character of ignoring such from fans. But such is technology that now players interact directly with fans. Hill needs someone from the Spurs FO or his Agent to help manage his tweets. Gotta ignore the negative and stay positive.

Point 2: Point 1 aside, I am appalled at how quickly so many members of SpursTalk turned on their own team. This is a team and coach that has brought us 4 Championships! What other small market NBA team can say that? Not in recent times, that's for sure. Stay positive and stay on the fan wagon. Gotta learn what a fan is I guess. That shouldn't have to be taught. Wow, I hated visiting this board because of the negativity on our own team. I can go to the Dallas or Laker board if I want that. I don't need to read posts from "fans" that tear down our own team. Quite disturbing.

i told him on twitter that alot of spurs fans are super frustrated with pops rotations and are not bscking out on the team(maybe some ) i also told him you watch how many ppl are there tomorrow after 6straight......tell me would L.a even be able to give tix away if it were flipped ??? i tweeted him about 3 times and also said we have defense in tiago but bonners in there, and fans are frustrated at how many minutes the guy is getting despite horrific sequence.. he didnt talk smack all nght after i told him that i was expecting something but nothing...looks like i gotta go regulate on lil george be right back lol...jk

well said, but i cant lie it means alot that hes close enought to share his emotions (this is him mad? im good with that) do you know what kind of thugs we could have on our team ..let him vent everyones different but i see your point too

Awww poor, Georgie. I should be like "it'll be OK, I still love you, go spurs go." Then, I'd get re-tweeted. Get out of town. My point is he is mentally weak if he put himself on a social network and then he can't handle a single negative comment, and I didn't say he owes me anything.

Also, my point is that he thinks Spurs fans who weren't pleased with the team's six-game losing streak are fake fans. Most of us will be Spurs fans for life. Will he be a Spur for life? Deep inside, fans will keep being fans no matter how bad the team does, but he can't expect fans to be happy with crap like that.
