beer = water it does no harm to your body however much you drink. he who has a bigger bladder drinks more beer imo.
As others have mentioned...it depends on the beer. I'm not sure on the exact number of beers, but that back in my heaviest drinking days my cousin and I could blow through a case of Bud Ice and a big bottle of Seagrams 7 in one evening.
I've had nights where I woke up the next day and only had a few Bud Ice's left with only me drinking on the case.
I have no numbers for you, but the most was probably down in Panama City when I was 17. I ate 5 hits of acid and then proceeded to blow through 2+ (have no clue how far beyond the second case we went, memory gets a bit foggy) cases of Southpaw light with a friend of mine. Keep in mind that the beer in that county is the evil, "3.2 flue". So it's probably not much of an achievement.

lol southpaw light, a fine beer from the makers of red dog. I haven't seen that since my college roomie used to keep a 6 of talls in the fridge. I have taken down a case of Keystone Light before.

I never did any serious drinking. But way back when I was 16, I had three malt liquors and three beers after I got off work one afternoon. I'm sure there was a joint in there. My mom was wondering why my eyes were red. I just said I was tired and couldn't go with them to get the xmas tree.
I have a pretty immature beer palate, so I'm limited to mostly the lightest beers. And I'm just not physically capable of consuming the volume of it that it would take to get wasted; so I'll say my personal record is around 4 beers in a 24 hr period, maybe getting a little tipsy but just giving up on it before I explode
Cancun 1998. Double-barrel bong, me and a friend, 18 beers at once (basically 9 each). He blew chunks, I did not.
That was around 10am. 14 hours of heavy drinking on the Booze Cruise later (i only drink beer, really) I Spiderman-ed my way across 8 balconies and 2 floors with that same friend, eluding the Federalis who had just kicked in the door of my buddy's hotel room with roughly a 1/4 lb of weed and and a 1/4 kilo of cocaine all splayed out on the table.
Choked a bus driver that night while he was driving through downtown Cancun at about 50-ish MPH and nearly killed everyone on the bus, luckily was accosted by an English-speaking Federali who understood why.
All in all, the most wild and crazy night of my life bar none. Plenty more went on that day/night, but those were the highlights (minus one).

A buddy and I used to down a case of beer and a liter of tequila just to get ready to go out drinking. This was an almost every weekend event for around two years. I couldn't guess what the maximum I drank was but I'd imagine it was on the nights that I have absolutely no memory of.
I drank 5 40's in a three hour period. I used to drink a bottle a night though so I may have consumed more alcohol in one night but I can't remember the exact amounts.

I couldn't give a number but there are those nights when the beer is going down so damm good and easy that you consume a load. If you want to do a trick to drink a lot of beer easily, poor a beer in a large cup. You'll be surprised how much more you can drink that way. I remember when I first started drinking at 16 when a mickeys two Budweiser tall boys and a joint would make me spin circles in my head!
Cancun was the absolute craziest week of my life with no equivocation. I have done other crazy but nothing will ever compare to the constant, overwhelming sense of going too fast and too far.
I typed a lot more than the sentence above, but it got too introspective and revealing at the end for this forum.

I had a 4 pack of Palo Santo Marron (12%) and a 6 pack of Dogfish Head's Indian Brown Ale (7.2%) once...

3 of us drank 5 cases on a 52 hour offshore fishing trip. I don't know what the record is. I don't drink much these days, and when I did, I didn't keep count.

I may be a girl but I can drink beer. It was Sop re year of college so like 2004...maybe like 8/10 and punch. It was a good night.
Now..maybe like 4 and a shot and I won't wake up until noon.
