Made some changes to your picks.

Bulls aren't 1-deep, they're 3-deep (actually a lot deeper than that, they're the deepest team in the league, easily).

Miami easily has the best 3-man team.

Lakers have best 4-man team and I think best 5-man team if you add in Barnes as their 5th (he's not really a "big" piece tho)

Nuggets have a tremendous amount of depth now but top-end talent trumps having a lot of above-average performers. Still, Denver has a lot of very good players and they play tough defense. They won't be an easy out.

Spurs deep too but I don't count Dice and Neal as "big" pieces. Blair is the closest to that as a 4th.

out of the 30 teams in the league Bulls fit in the Big 1 category more than any other. (Orlando close second)

Lakers can only be in 1. Barnes is nowhere near a big player.

Spurs deep too but I don't count Dice and Neal as "big" pieces. Blair is the closest to that as a 4th.
    Dice >>>> Blair

Without Neal and we have not even close record to #1 seed

    Channel The Dude.....

That's just like, your opinion, man.

Because Dices defense, rebounding and ability to hit the mid range jumpshot is vital to our success.

Rose might not even be the best player on his team. He's easily their MVP because Boozer and Noah missed so much time, but minute-for-minute they are arguably better players.

Orlando on the other hand... THAT is your 1-deep team. Howard is who I'd pick for NBA MVP. The rest? Hedo? Arenas? Richardson (both of em)? What happened to this team? Bass, Anderson, and Re can all play but they are all role players and limited ones at that.

Orlando has the depth of a birdbath in July.

I did. I spent the summer arguing with Bulls fans who wanted management to pull the trigger on the Noah for Carmelo trade without thinking twice about it and they couldn't understand why I was against it. A primadonna like Carmelo can kill a young team with his at ude. Finally getting rid of a chucker cancer that plays no defense did wonders for not only the players but probably the coaching staff as well. When your best player doesn't have a defensive iden y it's hard to make others on the team play defense as well. With Carmelo and his drama gone the coaching staff had a fresh pair of ears from the trade and a rejuvenated team to start preaching defense and teamwork once again. They've always had talent there.

Chicago can't beat Boston straight up, and Stern will never permit them to wiseguy 'em out of it.

Stern would leave Boston & Miami to their own devices.

Big 3: Bulls, Rose, Boozer, Noah

Big 2: OKC, Durant + Westbrook

Big 2: Heat, Wade + James

Big 4: Lakers, Bryant + Gasol + Bynum + Odom

    Big 5: Celtics, Pierce + Allen + Garnett + Rondo + Davis

Big 6: Spurs, Parker + Hill + Manu + Duncan + McDyess + Neal (reaching by calling Neal part of a big 5, but RJ certainly isn't)

    Big 7: Dallas, Nowitzki + Terry + Marion + Chandler + Beaubois + Kidd + Barea

    Big 8: Denver, Gallo + Chandler + Nene + Martin + Smith + Felton + Harrington + Lawson

I think NY with Amar'e, Chauncey and Melo would be a big 3 as much as Miami would have one, and I consider Billups better at his position than Bosh at his, especially in the post season.

It's a quite difficult exercise. For me the big 1 is orlando, Chicago is a big 3 but Heat is stronger, really not sure about the spurs tbh (if Green can gel boston is the big 5) and boston (see my previous point and Davis is nice and all but he is just Davis). Dallas is a solid candidade for 7 and I agree with Denver, they are deeeepppp

Martin and McDyess are practically the same player aside from a jumpshot, more leaping ability and a three year age difference. And at this point, Martin is hurt so much it's hard to tell who's actually older.

Are you saying Martin is that much important in the grand scheme of things than McDyess?

    I disagree

Just like Lakers opponents hope Kobe tries to take over games, Bulls opponents hope Rose does the same. Both are great players, but I don't think either is the best on their team.
