Dallas down by 10 to Denver at half. Would you guys rather play Dallas or OKC in the 2nd round?

Ummm, I don't think PFs are supposed to be matched up on SGs. Tony was on Thornton and got picked off the play and didn't fight hard enough through the screen.
so its official, Matt Bonner is a bad help defender as well ...

by the way, why is your name Splitman4evah and you keep on bashing Tiago?

Watching Matt Bonner play defense is like watching a pitcher trying to bat.
Or watching Jose Canseco trying to pitch.

Spurs will pick it up in the 3rd. Those wide open looks and transition points will eventually translate to a double digit lead (for us hopefully).
or the kings will heat up, we will cool off and as we are soft as with 0 hustle stats in our favor, kings will win by 10

So, we're gonna beat the Lakers with Bonner & Blair? How much more out of touch could Pop possibly be? This season is turning into a joke.

It really does completely amaze me how the game completely tanks when those two are in together. I would be interested to see some kind of study on how long it typically takes to lose leads and for the Big 3 to bring the score back. I'm serious. Anyone into statistics who's tough enough not to blow their brains out while re-watching every game this combination has been used?
    http://popcornmachine.net/

excellent site on that kind of info.

it shows the players on the court when the runs were made, and the bonner/blair combo is terrible (not an amazing revelation)

More terrible coaching. Going with the entire bench for a long stretch, when there was little to no separation, against a team playing well and care free? This stubborn son of a needs to stop trying to do the "find out what the bench is made of/build up the bench's confidence" routine. It's too late in the season for it and they're too undersized a unit to be successful in the playoffs. They're not going to magically get better; they're going to get exposed.

Once again, a big front line playing is volleyball on the offensive glass against Blair/Bonner. Blair doesn't rebound with the consistency he did last season and Bonner? I guess he thinks his job is done in that regard, because he rebounded well in the Suns game. He needs to be given an ultimatum: get to the defensive glass or get to the bench.

Once again, this team is coasting. Sloppy turnovers, stagnant offense. Too often, I'm seeing guys trying to go one-on-one, as if they think if they can score a few times quickly the game will be over. Clearly, they don't care about maintaining the best record over the Bulls or going into the playoffs on a high note. They're slogging their way through these games, as if they're a lottery bound team with nothing to play for. The only positive whatsoever is Duncan has taken his game to another level.

I would buy season tickets if Pop would just rotate Novak and Splitter into the playoff rotation and Bonner and Blair out.

Better yet if Pop would just start coaching and rotate the bigs based of matchups rather than a pre-determined set of minutes.

Because it used to be awktalk then he got banned by Kori for being a ing idiot.

So he created a Tiago screen name to tell people that they are obsessed with Tiago

I think it's apparent that this team doesn't believe they have what it takes. Cynicism has taken hold, and that's a deadly energy drain. There's no place for this team to go, no higher level they can kick it to.
